25.01.2022 Finally, it's done! My first 'horse' book....in preparation for the Online Workshops that I'm currently preparing to do next year re Dressage Training....this ...book lays the foundation for what these Workshops are about! But, interesting enough...at same time, having just checked Horse Magazine's website since it moved to digital magazines, Chis Hector is 'talking' in his current articles along exact same lines as are in this book/how I approach the training of Dressage....and I left this online msg/comment there about what's in these articles of his..."I have been 'going on' for year[s] at multiple Dressage Clinic in South Australia about the importance of horses being allowed to carry their heads and necks in the naturally designed manner that supports the horse's well-being PLUS which shows correct or 'proper' outcome of Dressage Training has been achieved...so was SO good to see the many good pictures/drawings of 'good' Dressage riders/their horses who were promoted in the last three articles in this series which shows how the Dressage horse has been trained in the past to be able to perform dressage 'movements' in this 'healthy' type of correct carriage....but it's up to the judges of Dressage to 'lift their game' regarding the judging of the horse's carriage in Dressage tests before the mainstream Modern Day Dressage Horse will be able to trained in the way that supports its welfare i.e. as these past Masters were able to do...BUT then we need to have Modern Day Dressage Coaches/Trainers who have the 'know how' to ensure that horses can be trained appropriately i.e. for their welfare in this Sport". .......so the NEW I.e. next 'part of MY Horse Journey' in Life has just begun! Here's the cover of this book...but might 'tweak' it a bit before it becomes available Online as part of my Workshops OR for sale independently! ...when it had been cos I couldn't find a suitably 'correct' dressage horse pic online to use on this cover that I used the 'image' that's on it now...which IS a VERY good example of how the Dressage Horse needs to be able to move in its 'work'! Amd Chis's articles have given me ideas about where I can now get 'real' horse images of similar...

22.01.2022 At 17, after being around racehorse/'beaker' stables from ages 10-16, i witnessed the most amazing 'example' of 'gentling'/backing a 'real' wild horse from the 'bush' = done by an Australian male rider, who looked to be 'outback' type of rider, within a matter of two hours....after seeing it shunted into the then small 'sale' yard at the Adelaide Showgrounds from a truck as a very nervous/stress-out 'by having arrived/'being' there' to then become a most relaxed first-time ridden mount for this rider = with it being able to move around this yard without either 'getting lost' or stuck' in this yard or showing any 'concern' for the person on its back...which taught me such a lot about the 'best' way of training horses to get the 'best' out of them without them being stressed by the 'intervention' of Humans in their lives!

20.01.2022 Some ideas to consider....the 'forward' seat/position in rising trot actually 'frees' up the horse from constraint of rider...to allow rider's body 'weight' to 'come down' on horses's back every second step is an unbalanced/retarding way to ride a horse ...and can cause to become 'bridle lame'....and it's very important to make sure that rider's back movement/stiffness doesn't cause the horse's walk to become a 'pace' or lateral movement..cos as soon as it does = horse isnt 'walking' thus 'gait gone wrong' etc...

11.01.2022 ..another local South Australian 'coach'/rider

04.01.2022 Wonder who picked this pic?...when this 'carriage' i.e. body/neck position of the horse is to be frowned upon as part of 'us' Humans showing that 'we' care for the Welfare of the Horse! And it's the 'sport' of Dressage that helps bring this 'error' of 'carriage' to Public focus...when, to see this horse 'acting' this 'way' apparently without a rider on its back, examples just how much a horse's training can 'corrupt' the naturalness of how it moves,or stands 'still, when unmo...unted... = that it has been 'trained' to 'carry' its head and neck this way even when unridden....and GO go read the rule books for Dressage, an equine Sport which developed based upon the 'natural' principles involved in how a horse is designed to 'carry itself over the ground' in its natural state...and see how Dressage horses are required to present to Dressage judges with their 'noses in front of the verical' and polls high i.e. at highest point of the neck ! [..the horse's poll is the top part of its skull which is between its ears....and many horses who have been 'forced' to 'carry' their heads/necks in this pic's manner end up with a major Dressage 'fault' known as a 'broken neck'.
