16.01.2022 Lest we forget..

15.01.2022 As we close the door on what could possibly be the most challenging year in our lifetime, all of us have had to pause & remember what is truly important - our families, our community and our health & safety. During this time Dress for Success Adelaide has been open providing virtual services and face-to-face services when easing of restrictions allowed. Since opening our doors in 2015 we have provided support to over 1,400 women in need in our community, conducted more than 2...,000 career support appointments and gifted in excess of 9,500 pieces of clothing & accessories. More than 800 women gained employment & began their journey towards financial independence. None of this would be possible without our corporate partners and YOU, members of our community who have volunteered their time, donated clothing, shoes, a handbag or a piece of jewellery. YOU have made the difference to a woman in need - Thank You See more

14.01.2022 Very excited to finally see Restyle Collective opening its doors to everyone

14.01.2022 Dabora came to Australia as a refugee from Sudan passionate about supporting and caring for people in the community. She worked hard to get her Certificate III in English and completed her Year 12. Her first job was as a meat packer in an abattoir. While working in the abattoir she began studying a Certificate III in Aged Care and Disability. On successfully completing her Certificate she began her caring career as an Aged Care Support Worker in a retirement facility. A wonde...rful achievement! But the story doesn’t end there Dabora spent the next few years working and studying part-time to get her Diploma in Nursing and then finally she was awarded her Bachelor of Nursing. What an incredibly determined young woman and a wonderful role model. What’s next for our lovely Dabora, her dream is to become a Doctor. We wish her all the very best for the future knowing when this young woman sets her mind and heart on a goal she will achieve it! See more

14.01.2022 The day has finally arrived! So looking forward to seeing customers coming through the doors A big thank you to Danielle, Ebony, Shirley & Tiffany for making the Restyle Collective look fabulous

14.01.2022 Celebrating International Women's Day on Sunday 8th March! The theme for 2020 is Balance for Better; a reminder that we’re all responsible for building a more just and equitable world, and that we all have the power to change things

13.01.2022 Dreams do come true! - Brigitte came to Dress for Success earlier this year after completing her Bachelor of Media Arts. She really wanted to get a start in her chosen career but it was challenging to get that first break without the relevant experience. Brigitte was willing to apply for all sorts of roles and thought she may have to put her dreams of becoming a Graphic Designer on hold. We encouraged her to apply for work experience and internships to try and gain as much in...dustry exposure as she could whilst applying for work in administration and retail. Brigitte was successful in gaining an unpaid internship and shortly after, using her networks, she was also offered a casual design role for another company. For the past few months, Brigitte has juggled both positions, learning as much as possible and sinking her teeth into lots of projects...and all the hard work has paid off!! Brigitte has been offered a full time Graphic Design role at one company and ongoing freelance work with the other! A wonderful achievement in a particularly challenging year. We are excited to watch Brigitte embark on her career and we are looking forward to welcoming her as a new member of the Professional Women’s Group in 2021. Congratulations Brigitte! Well Done!
