22.01.2022 Another call out job. Only have pics of the damage as I needed to get this couples caravan back on the road. They headed off to Denham but didn't even make it 1km. The right hand brake locked up and overheated, the owner went back home and pulled the hub off to find a big mess. The caravan was serviced, new brakes and hubs fitted by apparently a "professional" business specializing in brakes. the van had hardly even done 100km since it was serviced After getting new parts it... was discovered the backing plates were fitted incorrectly and R/H one was not sitting square to the hub. I managed to put in a spacer to correct this. I did recommend that they have the mount cut off and rewelded though. This problem should have been recognized easily by the business that done the work. New bearings were also fitted as the others had been cooked from over heating. See more

21.01.2022 Due to red tape and bullshit I will no longer be doing any trailer repair work until I have sorted some stuff out. Sorry for any inconveniences. To all my past happy customers I thank you for your support. To the Australian government, you suck. No wonder our country is going to shit. The small man can never get ahead.... I will still be available for general welding and fabrication.

21.01.2022 Just a lil something to think about. I'm legally allowed to build stuff like this, and have done for nearly 20 years. 6m long 4500kg ATM, 12" electric drums and all the fruit. Can build it, wire it all up, fit axles, hubs, breaks, bearings, suspension etc. Passes all inspections......only had one fail in nearly 20 yrs.....HOWEVER should this trailer need a wheel bearing changed im not qualified to do that cus i dont have the appropriate license. Australian government is a fucking joke

15.01.2022 A customer taking advantage of my wheel bearing special. Had a damaged safety chain also, so we cut that off and welded on another.

12.01.2022 High Jump Mat Trolleys I was approached to make two trolleys to cart high jump mats from one of the local Little Athletics clubs. My kids use to be members so I was happy to help out. They had to be compact to fit in their storage shed, so i made them so the handles folded back and they could be stored on their side.

11.01.2022 Hoarse float This hoarse float came for a bit of a birthday. New hitch, master cylinder, replace main brake line, new brake backing plates, new wheel bearings, spring bushes and pins, hubs painted. Full light test, L/H tail light not working , was a blown globe so replaced that. Wrong U-bolts were fitted to rear axle so they were removed and replaced with the proper ones to suit the square axle. Then i cleaned up the bad surface rust, etch primed, sealed around front window and painted, as well as the rear gates and ramp. Road tested and delivered back to a very happy customer.

10.01.2022 Haven't posted anything for awhile. Im still welding and doing fab work. Lately ive knocked out a few of these bbq vortexs as it seems everyone is getting into charcoal cooking and smoking.

10.01.2022 Small boat trailer sent out the other day. Customer loaned his boat out and the person who borrowed it jack knifed the trailer and bent the drawbar and damaged the winch. After talking with the customer he mentioned the boat was hard to launch, fiberglass hull on the magnaplank V guides was a bad set up. it was decided that I would fabricate a whole new keel roller frame and fit it with proper rollers to suit the fibreglass hull. Full rewire, new LED lights, reflectors, new Ubolts, new winch, swap the hubs to Ford stud pattern, new galvanised rims. Clean up any surface rust on lower chassis and paint with Cold Galv.

09.01.2022 A job I did a while ago for a Landscaping company. Platform/bench added to the front of trailer. Third whipper snipper rack added inside along with another blower rack. Ramp assist springs added to side ramps and new ones fitted to rear ramp. General tidy up and some rust repairs so the owner could send trailer to get sandblasted and resprayed

06.01.2022 Small job for today. New wheel bearings, hubs cleaned out, degreased, fresh grease and hubs repainted. Customer had replaced the suspension himself, so while I was at it I sprayed all his new suspension bolts and Ubolt with a protective anti-corrosion spray for free

05.01.2022 Mobile job I done last week. Caravan with independant suspension. Was due for new wheel bearings and the owner wanted the brakes checked.After inspection it was found the magnets and pads were due for a change so it was discussed with the owner and complete new backing plates were fitted and new wheel bearings fitted. All ready for school holiday trip to Exmouth

02.01.2022 Another boat trailer job. Customers drawbar on his break back trailer was totally rusted out. I fabricated a new one for him and had it hot dip galvanised. Delivered it and helped him fit it. Another very happy customer

01.01.2022 My parents Helen and Peter Crosby Sutton went to leave last week from Byford to Denham but only lasted a few kilometres and ended up turning back. The electric ...brakes were on fire and put on wrong by another company we found drews number and he came out within 30 minutes he spent all day replacing not one side but both sides the price drew gave to my parents was awesome very professional job thanks to drew my parents have arrived in Denham and loving there holiday thanks to drew keep up the great work See more
