15.01.2022 Before After . Here's a few snaps of our compost and it's stages of breakdown before it gets blended into our mixes . We initially receive cow manure, chicken manure and a mushroom compost blend. Then we divide this into our portions and add worm castings to really kick off the biology ... . Then we wait, turn it, turn it and wait some more, and one day the worms tell us it's good before we get it tested for specifics and onto the product line This takes roughly 8 weeks! . It's not until this time, for a product like TurboDirt for example, that we add in the nutrient components, and let it compost some more! This next phase of the nutrients breaking down lasts a further 6 weeks, bringing the total time of composting and nutrient cycling to well over 3 months total. This ensures all the compost is finished with its maximum nutrient density . Then we finally get it out to you guys and our fantastic retailers!! Gnat Bat allows gardeners to effortlesslydeter Fungus Gnats from entering their pots by creating an impenetrable barrier for crawling and flying insects .... This is because as soon as the substrate gets wet & absorbs water from the growing medium, its shard-like structure is "melted" and no longer performs as advertised.
