24.01.2022 Good evening everyone Well as the 2020 season comes to a close I’d just like to say a huge thankyou to everyone, parents, coaches, managers and of course our players for your commitment to this COVID-19 lockdown season. It certainly has been a tough year but we survived. As a club we faced some challenging decisions earlier in the year but in the end we managed to get through and get some of our teams on the field. It has not been easy for a lot of people and it continu...es to challenge our world everyday. But we will get through this and next year, all things going well, will be bigger and better for all involved in Goulburn Hockey. To our sponsors, again thankyou so much for your ongoing support of our wonderful club. We truly appreciate what a tough year you have all experienced and hope that at the end of this pandemic we can all come together and celebrate over a drink or 2. May I suggest ’ The Hibo ’ it’s a fantastic venue To our teams, U7, U9, U11’s, U13, U15 (maroon and white) and 1st grade women I hope you have all enjoyed the short season and look forward to seeing you all back next season. I must make special mention of 2 of our teams. Our U11’s, under the guidance of Chloe and Karina, who dominated their competition and have made it to the grand final Saturday week. Also our U13’s team, a team primarily made up of 1st year 13’s who have also done an excellent job currently sitting just 1 point out of a grand final spot. They play against Crookwell Purple this Saturday for a place in the grand final. We wish Jake, James, Amy and their team all the best we hope to see you in the Grandfinal too. 09.01.2022 Exciting news just in, he’s out of quarantine and into the Kookaburras Supercamp currently in Western Australia, in a bid to secure his spot in the open men’s Australian hockey team. To Ben Staines we wish you all the best as you chase your dream and hope to see you in the green and gold
