16.01.2022 Day 18: We are at the point where these are vehicles we currently own. Starting with the slowest of the lot lol. The sexy pewter Nissan Silvia Spec R -GT. It is... currently getting a forged engine built and installed by Michael Robinson from Voodoo Auto Electrical. It has sat most of its life as a garage queen with a 107,000kms on the clock and will soon have a brand new forged powerplant. It has been in the family for 8 years. 14.01.2022 It was a hectic weekend and my first comp in almost 2 years at Raleigh Motorsports Complex. New layout and clipping points was a good change. Blew a charge pip...e during my first qualifying run and still managed OK but it threw me off my mojo for my 2nd run after Michael Robinson and Scotty Graham sorted the boost pipe and fuel issues (blocked filter). Got through top 16 battles and was battling reigning champ Barry Clark for top 8 where I missed my 2nd inside clip and tapped a tire wall on the 4th outer clip handing the win over to Barry which went on to finish 2nd. Looking forward to the next one with The Race Cartel 's Soarer (Papa Smurf). Would like to mention and thank all my sponsors for getting me back on track in such a short time frame. Also announcing our newest tire sponsor to the team Blue Water Mechanical Michael from Voodoo Auto Electrical and Scotty Graham from SG Industries for taking time out 3 weekends in a row to shakedown the car and get it ready for the rest of the year and also getting the trailer and car up to scratch.
