16.01.2022 How often do we find ourselves telling someone else how amazing they look. ‘You look young’ You look amazing’. Interestingly, when I ask one of my patients which feature on their face is their best feature, so often they say, ‘Nothing’. This devastates me. So often people have incredible eyes, a wide smile, a perfect nose. It doesn’t all have to be perfect but if you have 1 signature features, you’re leaps and bounds ahead! ... And when my patients tell me I look good (at 52) but they don’t.....I realised that the way we look at ourselves be others is completely different. I look at ME the way YOU look at YOU. I look at YOU the way YOU look at ME . . . . . #bestdoctor #BeautyExpert #skindoctor #lovebeingdoctor #femalephysicians #femaledoctor #femaledoctors #change #skinfacelife #workfromhomemum #naturalresults #beautyguru #beautylook #motivationmonday #skincare #beautylook #agingbackwards #ageisjustanumber #beautytips #girlboss #liveauthentic #thehappynow #darlingmovement #creativepreneur #glow #BeautyExpert #BeautyInfluencer #skincare #serum #wrinkle

06.01.2022 My friend’s grandfather always said it’s easier to be a friend when times are easy. But when life gets difficult, that’s when you see the stuff people are made of! I’m grateful today and always to have the most supportive friends and family. Life has been more challenging these last few years, so thank you to all of you who take my tears and my smiles alike. ... Life is too short to spend with those who no longer serve us. So for the rest, it’s about blessing them, wishing them well, and letting them go. I TRY TO ALWAYS BLESS AND RELEASE those who no longer serve me. BLESS because if we harbour resentment, it weighs US down rather than affecting the offending person! Would love to know your thoughts too! . . . . . #bless #release #beingmom #momming #ainglemum #singlemom #justdoit #makeithappen #stayhealthy #bethebestyoucanbe #doitchallenge #rolemodelling #bestdoctor #lovemyjob #skindoctor #lovebeingdoctor #femalephysicians #femaledoctor #femaledoctors #change #changes #girlboss #workfromhome #skinfacelife #savvybusinessowner #growyourbusiness #workingmomlife #womeninbiz #skinfacelife #supermom

04.01.2022 Making life decisions when you’re 18 isn’t always the perfect way to design a happy life. Working from home isn’t something I ever considered. I was a dr working in a clinic and that’s how it’s always been. But life got in the way and things happened that I didn’t plan for. I also realised I was missing all the important moments with my children because I was at work. ... It’s a pity that I only realised that a Plan B can actually be a Plan A if you want it to. You just have to make some tough decisions and work out what you value most! . . . . #beingmom

01.01.2022 Do you know that being attached to the outcome destroys pleasure? It’s having an expectation that things will go exactly as you want or plan or hope. Most of the time, things are dependent on other people’s thoughts, decisions (which can be random,) and so many other factors. So we end up with wishful thinking that takes us away from enjoying what’s actually going on. ... I see this in my work every day. And it’s so sad that that whether someone else decides in favour of or against something, this can determine whether we are happy. Or sad. Cultivating the attitude that, It will be whatever it is, and I’ll be ok with it, keeps us far happier! Does this mean NEVER EVER HAVE HOPES? Absolutely not. Hoping and dreaming are essential for growth. Real growth is when we have hopes and dreams but we understand that what actually happens won’t determine our happiness or sadness. . . . . . #hopes
