07.01.2022 Dear Eat Easy community, In light of recent developments regarding the response to COVID-19, we’ve decided to push back the Eat Easy Awards until the middle of the year. Eat Easy is an awards show where the health and wellbeing of those who grow, serve and make our food is a priority and we don’t want to put extra pressure on everyone in the hospitality and farming industries at this uncertain time.... This isn’t a decision that has been taken lightly; Eat Easy celebrates responsible eating and dining, so the responsible decision is to postpone the submissions and judging for some of the categories until the middle of the year. This means all submissions for Best Produce (Red Meat, Bred, Grown, Made and Wild Harvested) will now close at midnight on June 26 and judging will take place at @africola_soundsystem on the week of July 6. Nominations for Best Chef, Best Dining and Best Front of House will close at midnight on June 1. The Eat Easy Awards’ Party will be held in late August. If anything changes, we’ll let you know. If you have any questions or queries, please contact [email protected]. For all producers who have already submitted, we will notify all personally with the new dates and related information.
