25.01.2022 Weve dealt with the massive storms recently that have flooded many properties across Sydney and finally gave relief to our wonderful farmers and their families. Weve worked hard to help our clients. We were then challenged by a leak that was flooding a ground floor unit in Mosman as previous plumbers could not diagnose or repair the leak. We carried out Camera inspections of the stormwater pipe throughout the building and found the stormwater pipe to be extensively blocked by tree roots. We were able to clear this stormwater pipe with our High Pressure Water Jetter for this building and avoid further flooding to the ground floor unit.

25.01.2022 We received a work order on Wednesday regarding water hammer throughout a block of units In Balgowlah. We quickly identified the loose pipework underneath the building that was causing the water hammer and repaired and fastened the pipework as required

24.01.2022 Weve just finished a stunning en-suite in Belrose. We took it from an outdated bathroom to a modern and user friendly bathroom with a custom made vanity unit and shaving cabinet. The strip out and new sheeting was done by Andrew from ACIC Handyman, such an easy guy to deal with and just gets in and gets the job done. The waterproofing and absolutely amazing tiling was done by Chris from Sydney Showerseal. Chris is without a doubt the best tiler I have ever worked with over ...the last 27 years. We have done many bathrooms together. And although Chris is now the number 1 in re sealing bathrooms and shower floors I was able to get him to tile this bathroom, and he delivered his amazing work once again. The custom made vanity unit and shaving cabinet was made by the only cabinet maker I would ever use or recommend. Cutting Edge Kitchens, so easy to deal with. David comes out and measures, makes the cabinetry and installs it. Were fortunate enough to have such amazing trades that work with us to get these beautiful projects finished on time and with in budget. See more

24.01.2022 We’ve received a call regarding a gas smell in a property at North Balgowlah today. Using our gas leak detection equipment we were able to pin point the gas leak to one specific joint underneath the house. Upon locating the leaking joint we used soapy water so you can all see how much gas leaks from a pipe. And if it’s leaking underneath your house you want to get on to it straight away. 23.01.2022 We always take our time to work with our clients and ask them what they what. We gave our wonderful clients a few options on replacing their toilet suite at a minimal cost as they werent in the position nor did they need to renew their bathroom. We made the new toilet suite fit without any problems. We dont use high pressure sales tactics or push for work that doesnt need to be done. 20.01.2022 The last two days for us have been massive. Our lovely clients have had blockages in their sewer pipe caused by tree roots. Fortunately we were able to reline these sections of pipework. This saved our clients from having to dig up their laundry floor and their ensuite floor. We also cut out 4 junctions with a robotic cutter. It was challenging and a big call to take this on, but we had to get this done for a lovely family.We promised our clients a date that we would be finished and we delivered. 20.01.2022 And weve done it again! Have a look at this stunning bathroom that we finished today. It was extremely tight but along with our amazing clients we made it work.

20.01.2022 We attended a water leak into the kitchen cupboards of a ground floor unit today. Using our micro camera we were able to find the cause of the leak that other plumbers werent able to find. 19.01.2022 We were called to a house In Balgowlah today due to a gas smell. According to the owners they have had this gas smell on and off for the last 8 months. Theyve had plumbers look for it and they havent been able to locate the leak. We attended and located the leak using our gas locator and then identified the leak coming from the gas meter regulator using soapy water. We have all the latest equipment to locate and trace leaking water pipes, gas pipes, CCTV inspection cameras for small and large pipes, High Pressure Water Jetters and Pipe Relining. 19.01.2022 What a busy weekend for us Plumbers! Weve worked hard all weekend as have our fellow plumbers to get all these blocked drains clear. Weve got pumps in underground car parks pumping out water that is flooding garages. Weve got pumps in at the front and sides of properties that are close to flooding. We will be going harder and stronger tomorrow to get these drains clear.

18.01.2022 The recent rains and cold snap hasn’t been nice to everyone. Our client was having a new pool craned into place. Due to the wet and boggy ground things didn’t go to plan. The stormwater pipe and sewer pipe were both damaged. We attended and replaced all the damaged pipework immediately.

17.01.2022 Over the Christmas break we were called by a tenant to investigate a strong gas smell in their house. Using our gas locator we found the gas leak to be coming from the inbuilt room heater. We dismantled the cupboard behind to allow access to the gas control valve and found the flexible gas hose to have melted and causing the gas leak. After isolating the gas supply we found the flexible hose too hot to touch. This is why we do not use flexible hoses on gas! If you smell any sign of gas call Drip Busters Plumbing on 0414905303

17.01.2022 It doesnt matter how many times we talk about these wipes that continue to block our sewer pipes, some people just dont understand. As Plumbers we see how bad these wipes are. They do not break down like toilet paper and here is an example of the blockage caused by wipes that we have just cleared.

17.01.2022 We had to replace a leaking kitchen mixer tap today. We’ve replaced hundreds of mixer taps over the last 27 years. Most have been chrome and we’ve had plenty of brass and black, even the odd white or powder coated mixer. But today’s mixer tap was all about BLING. Yes it’s GOLD!

15.01.2022 26 years as a plumber and Ive seen and repaired a lot of broken sewer and stormwater pipes in car parks due to people not looking where they are going and over height removalist trucks and delivery drivers not paying attention. But this one takes the award for simply not paying attention to their surroundings. 3m high garage entry to a block of units, entry to the garage is 20m back from the street. Reversed straight into the stormwater pipe. Some people just should not have a drivers license. We received the work order this morning and had it repaired by lunch.

12.01.2022 We’ve spent today getting a sewer running for a beautiful family in Killarney Heights. The sewer was overflowing and running into the neighbouring property. With everything going on in the world at the moment we knew we had to get it clear, even on Sunday. The root growth inside the pipe was extensive and the main root is one of the largest we’ve seen in many years. We got it clear and running for our lovely clients this afternoon.

11.01.2022 It was one of those days today where everything didnt go to plan. But we had to make it happen as the property was open for inspection tomorrow morning. We replaced the pipework. And our amazing handyman just got everything else done in time for tomorrows inspection. ACIC Handyman

08.01.2022 Weve just finished another bathroom in the Forest area. This new bathroom has a steel bath tub, in wall cistern and wall mounted vanity unit with a stone bench top and above bench basin. The Villeroy and Boch shower head and hand held shower combination is second to none! The owners love it! And we cant wait to see the glass screen installed! 07.01.2022 On the 1st of July 1993 I started my apprenticeship to become a plumber in this fantastic trade. I was fortunate to have gained an apprenticeship with a company that had several amazing plumbers. We did it a bit different back then. There was no relining of pipes, there was no crimping tools. It was a case of start digging and they were days if not weeks of digging. They were also the days of dragging your oxy and acetylene bottles under a house and silver soldering the pip...es and fittings. There was no sales tactics, there was no pressure on the client. There was no offer of a discount if the client agreed to the work and the work be carried out by a certain date. We reline pipes and use crimping tools now as we need to keep up with the times and changes in our trade. But to see what I saw last week on a gas hot water heater infuriates me. Its not just being lazy, its not knowing what to do as you havent been taught the correct way.

06.01.2022 On this day 27 years ago I started my apprenticeship with a maintenance plumbing company in Artarmon. At the time they were the go to plumbing company. I was fortunate to work with 14 different plumbers, and some of the most amazing plumbers Ive ever met. There was no cutting corners, flexible hoses didnt exist, it was all copper. We took pride in our work, and I still do. Fast forward 27 years and we turn up to a unit in Manly and find a hot water heater connected with flexible hoses. The mind boggles on how someone could stand back after finishing that job and say to themselves Im proud of the work Ive just done

05.01.2022 We were called to clear a blocked sewer today as the sewer had blocked up twice with in the last month. The previous plumber used an electric eel and ensured the client that the line was clear. Using our camera from downstream of the blockage we located a mass of roots that were blocking the pipe. 05.01.2022 We were called to a unit block in Balgowlah this afternoon as the basin mixer tap was leaking. We certainly got there before the unit flooded

04.01.2022 We were called to a broken sewer pipe that had blocked up and caused issues for this property previously. Upon our inspection we found the pipework to be in extremely poor condition and in need of replacement/repairs. 04.01.2022 Watch this space! Weve recently finished two bathrooms in Frenchs Forest and have now been challenged to deliver two bathrooms in Artarmon. The ensuite is very small and the owners want a bath with shower over the bath, vanity and toilet suite. With the 2 walls being very close to the same size as the bath going in we absolutely nailed it. Our drainage was perfect and met up with the bath waste exactly. We cant wait to see these bathrooms finished.

02.01.2022 Here’s a little sneak peek of the latest bathroom we have finished the plumbing on. Can’t wait to show you all the finished bathroom once the lights and shower screen go in. We have created some amazing bathrooms this year, but this is certainly one of the best.

01.01.2022 It certainly has been a crazy couple of weeks for us plumbers. Weve all worked long hours during the week and some of us have also worked the weekends to get the stormwater flowing for our customers. Weve missed being able to kiss our kids goodnight because theyre already asleep. Weve got home and our wives are asleep on the lounge waiting until we get home. Were absolutely drenched and have been all day. But were Plumbers and we are here to clear these blocked brains.... And we love what we do! A lot of us Plumbers are mates. As last week started to dry up many of us where called to inspect stormwater lines. One of my best mates that owns Beez Neez Plumbing ran his camera up a stormwater line and found a frog jumping in front of his camera. Beez Neez Plumbing were able to flush the frog out gently. Then it was our turn to find something in a stormwater pipe. A beautiful house at Killarney Heights that had a blocked stormwater pipe. There we are on Friday pushing our camera up the stormwater pipe and found this massive Yabbi. We where able to gently get this beautiful yabbi out of the the stormwater pipe and put it in a place where it has water and food. Massive congratulations to our friends at Beez Neez plumbing for how they treat our wildlife and also dont have the rip, tear and bust attitude. See more
