22.01.2022 We had a customer with a concern that the "Gummy Bears" flavour was causing cracking to the plastic on their ego pen style "TANK" (no mod damage) and are working to resolve the situation with that particular customer who has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and will likely be receiving refunds, hugs, replacement tanks and a top up of flavours for letting us know so kindly and politely :p We've contacted our supplier today and have been advised that the Gummy Bears flavo...ur concentrate contains a chemical which our other flavours do not "Triaceitin" it is FDA GRAS and Food Safe used in other vape juices from all various juice manufacturers globally however it can cause weakening in some plastics leading them to become brittle. Here is a list of other flavours that contain this chemical and some more information regarding the triacetin cracking. http://www.discountvapers.com/liquids-and-tanks/ It is a common and known issue with some flavours and just like all vape manufacturers and suppliers we do not cover damage to tanks, clearomizers, mods or any hardware that come as a result of the use juice with the exception of the person who let us know recently. Please be advised regarding the weakening of plastics, MOST vape hardware now days if made of glass or metal are Triaceitin Resistant but polycarbonate tanks will become brittle, may crack. Please ensure with your documentation, manufacturer or google search if you're tank is going to be okay with Triaceitin we are all using gummy bears in our mods Wismec, Ijoy with imported RDA's and RDTA's and have had no problems but we have seen what Triaceitin can do to the wrong kind of plastic :)
