21.01.2022 Interesting project we have been working on recently. Something close to our hearts like this always gets the creative juices flowing. Tuned length turbo manifold and intake plenum for a Datsun A series engine. Quite challenging due to the conventional non-crossflow cylinder head design and having all components on the passengers side.

19.01.2022 One of our recent jobs involved designing, modelling, drafting and sourcing the below LED light mounting system for one of our great customers. This was an interesting and successful project in which we were challenged to adapt a standard LED light tube to an application that hadn't been done previously. The first production run of 2000 sets has been completed overseas and finished parts are due to land in Sydney for our customer early this week. Photos below are taken of the very first off tool sample we received. Image of 3D CAD model also shown below.

18.01.2022 Hi and welcome to DRIVE Designs. We offer Design Engineering services including Product Conception, 3D CAD Modelling, Detail Drafting & Rapid Prototyping. We can also facilitate the manufacturing process of designed components. Please contact us for further details.

18.01.2022 Our 3D printing system is now up and running. From simple prototype parts (such as the part being printed in the video) to more complex pieces, we can meet your rapid prototyping requirements.

15.01.2022 Simple solutions result in happy customers! We recently designed a small adapter for an LED lighting system that our customer is using. The prototype was printed using our 3D printer and supplied along with 2D manufacturing drawings so that an injection moulding company can mass produce the part.

02.01.2022 Exciting news: We are investing in a CNC routing centre which will enable us to machine parts in-house for both prototyping purposes and small production runs. Some of the materials we will be able to machine include plastics (acrylic, polycarbonate, polyurethane etc), carbon fibre, aluminium and timber.
