23.01.2022 A huge Thank You to our charity support partners who wanted to assist us in making our charity easier to access for anyone needing our help. Thanks to Fox Finance Group our application process has now been made entirely digital! During our meeting last week we spoke about how our charity wanted to be able to reach more families in need and reduce their stress. They instantly suggested they could implement a fully digital application process which is fast and easier to use tha...n the old school system we had originally set in place when we started serving the community last year, no more printing out application forms to fill out and return. Now with a simple all on line process in place, it saves precious time and allows for easy access to our help. Thank you to Nathan and Dan who made this possible. 23.01.2022 Incredible morning heading onto the new Palmview School Construction site to be given a generous donation from the FKG Group team towards our charity Driven By KM. This money will go directly back into the local community and financially assist families with chronically ill and terminally ill children. Thank you Mark for making this possible.

For any families who need to reach out for a hand during a tough time, they can apply totally online without needing to leave the side of their sick child at all. We are here to help and lessen the stress during some dark days.

14.01.2022 We are absolutely honoured to be able to announce that Ang has been named as a nominee for Australian of the Year Awards Local Hero in recognition for her work in the community. The media release has said the following; Angela Mansey is a businesswoman who uses her platform to reach out to those in the community who need help. She assists youth with job placement and mentorship, creating an environment that encourages young people to come in for help with their resumes Angel...a regularly hosts large fundraising events, raising thousands of dollars and donating much needed toys and equipment for numerous charities, local hospitals, foster families and community causes. She is also part of the Alliance for Suicide Prevention, advocating for mental health awareness and support. Angela is founder and director of Driven By KM a charity that supports the families of terminally ill children on the Sunshine Coast. She uses her business Kuluin Mufflers to cover the costs so that 100 per cent of donations support families with children in hospital helping them cover medical expenses and bills. Angela has received many awards at the local and national level for her business achievements and contribution to the community. Next Tuesday she will have the privilege of being honoured in a room filled with people who we have all looked up to for such a long time. 13.01.2022 Facebook Memory 2 years ago today Some days are absolutely humbling and this one was certainly one of them. Within 2 months of announcing the start up of my charity Driven By KM we were privileged to stand amongst some incredibly supportive and beautiful people as they hosted our very first fundraiser on our behalf. Called My Torana Rules it was a car enthusiasts dream and a wonderful event that saw the car community come together for a great cause. An absolutely in...credible day hosted by Torana Appreciation Social Club Sunshine Coast at The Sands Tavern to raise money for Driven By KM! This was our very first fundraising day on behalf of our charity and we were beside ourselves with gratitude for the amazing effort that this car club has put in to putting together this day. 100% of the proceeds raised on this special day went directly to where it is needed most by financially supporting the families with sick children in need on the Sunshine Coast. #mytoranarules #tasc #drivenbykm #kuluinmufflers See more

This generous donation came about as Joseph, Mia and their team wanted to celebrate their 10 years of successful business by donating a portion of their July profits to our charity to give back to the Sunshine Coast Community. We look forward to using this to give financial support to families of terminally and chronically ill children on the Sunshine Coast. To do that we need your help to let the families know that we are able to assist them We have the ability to offer financial support to families with chronically and terminally ill children that are struggling in any way financially. From covering mortgage/ rent payments, to medical bills or emergency travel expenses when their little one needs to go to hospital, we are here to help. 05.01.2022 Driven By KM has been incredibly proud to be named as the recipient of all the proceeds from the famous Car Calendar produced from Brooke and Doris. This is available for $10 at various supporting businesses, obviously Kuluin Mufflers is displaying them with great pride in the office for anyone who would like to swing past and donate and collect an epic Christmas present. This is the 7th year that this calendar has been produced, all 100 by donations and support from local businesses. So just like our charity, this means no administration or costings come out and every cent goes directly to those in need. Make sure you get in and grab your copy before they sell out
