24.01.2022 Heading off for a Road Trip this School Holidays? Here is your ULTIMATE VEHICLE CHECKLIST for hassle free motoring! Keep your family safe & your holidays on track! Go through this checklist BEFORE leaving for your holiday! 1. OIL - Check your oil leavels and check if it's dirty. Dirty oil can leave you stranded with costly repairs. 2. COOLANT / WATER: Check correct level, get the glycol level tested, make sure your cooling system has the right amount of coolant in the system... to help avoid overheating issues. 3. COOLING SYSTEM: check over radiator and associated hoses and make sure they are in good condition. 4. BATTERY: Have your battery tested to ensure you're not going to have any starting issues 5. LIGHTS: Avoid costly fines and make sure all your warning devices are working, indicators etc| 6. FANBELTS: Worn or perished fanbelts could leave you stranded on the side of the road and cause engine damage. 7. TYRES: Check for uneven wear, make sure they're legal and not worn, check tyre pressures, if there is wear or defects on the tyres, you may need to look further in to suspension and tyre issues.
