23.01.2022 Great news! Queensland Courts will be allowing people back into the court rooms from 15 June. As a consequence we will be reopening all our offices immediately. In order to ensure the safety of our staff and clients we would ask that if you wish to visit an office that you ring us first to make an appointment. We will continue to offer advice on the phone for free, ring us if you need any information or to see if you can bring your court date forward. Our main office number is 1300 952 255.

22.01.2022 We are so very proud to announce that our lawyer Lucy Ferguson is a finalist in this years Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 awards for criminal law. This is the second time Lucy has been a finalist. It places her as one of the 10 best criminal defence lawyers under 30 in Australia. Lawyers Weeklys 30 Under 30 is Australias largest gathering of lawyers aged 30 and under and is the most prestigious award to be nominated for. Being a two time finalist shows just how much Lucy's skill and determination to get the best outcomes for her clients is recognised Australia wide. The winners will be announced on 29 May through an online awards ceremony and our whole firm will be looking forward to the announcement of the winner.

21.01.2022 Amazing news that our very talented Lawyer Lucy Ferguson has been recognised as one of Australia's 8 best criminal defence lawyers under 30. Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 is Australias largest independent awards program that recognises excellence in young lawyers. The whole team at Clarity Law congratulate Lucy on this huge honour. 20.01.2022 There can be no doubt that if cannabis is even partially legalised in Queensland that the drug driving laws will have to be reviewed especially the current law regarding driving with a relevant drug in the system.

19.01.2022 Our office has now reopened after the Christmas break and we look forward to assisting clients throughout 2020.

18.01.2022 New laws have amended the requirements for witnessing of certain documents, this will allow us to remotely witness client affidavits used in work licence applications and special hardship orders.

17.01.2022 Last weekend Russell and Lucy of our office attended the Solicitor Advocate Course run by the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Advocacy Institute. It is an intensive course designed to improve essential advocacy skills, including effective preparation, performance and communication skills. Advocacy is the art of persuasion and it is critical in criminal law. Even though we appear in court hundreds of times a year it is still important to continue to train and improve our skills.
