19.01.2022 Join the fantabulous Louise Catherine Thomson and I every Wednesday for our new free weekly zoom chat about well-being with a rural/regional woman from our network. Our first guest this Wednesday at 1pm is the wonderful Dianne Gary Bowles a dairy farmer from Cohuna in Victoria. Why did we want to speak with Di? A couple of years ago Di made the decision to consciously pull back and say no to many of the commitments she had on boards, committees etc. She wanted to press pause,... get out of frantic busy mode and spend some time reflecting and getting clear on what was really important to her. This has had lots of well-being benefits for her and we thought this would be of interest to many people who are going to be experiencing forced withdrawal in the near future due to physical isolation policies to manage COVID-19. We thought Di would have some great wisdom to share about the benefits of slowing down and reassessing. Di also started the Show Some Dairy Love facebook page to support the well-being and connection of dairy farmers. So if you'd like to join Louise, Di and I this Wednesday 25th March from 1-2 pm, register for our free zoom webinar at: https://zoom.us//regist/tJMpceutqjMvIJevt0gihJwqZ77RC4t3Sw We'll be lining up lots of great guests over the coming months so that we can all take some time out each week to connect in with each other, support each other and hear what's going on in the lives of rural and regional women. Please share with your network and spread the word.
14.01.2022 Join Cynthia Mahoney and Associates and Louise Catherine Thomson for our next Well-Being Wednesday at 1pm on 1st April on Zoom. To register for the webinar please go to: https://zoom.us//regist/v50vfuyhpzkja1ld4kiUtl6B4cnmKGh8rQ well-Being Wednesday is where we get together on-line with a woman from our network who is from rural, regional or remote Australia and have a conversation about well-being. We wanted to find a way to keep connected, bring people together and suppor...t each other in the current circumstances. So many of the women we know have great wisdom to share and we thought these times of physical distancing would make it even more important to keep socially connected and focused on well-being. Our guest this week is the wonderful Maree McPherson from Gippsland. Maree is the author of Cutting Through The Grass Ceiling which teaches women how to change their mindset, gain control of their decisions, better understand their values and become visible in their careers. She works with regional women to help them grow and thrive and her knowledge of growth mindsets and focusing on what you can control will prove invaluable in supporting people through these challenging times., So please join us no matter where you are located - anyone who is is interested in listening and joining the conversation is welcome. Hope to see you there!
