19.01.2022 Dr. Esler has co-authored a journal article published before Christmas in the prestigious international medical journal Human Reproduction. The article titled "Should we still perform fresh embryo transfers in ART?" discusses the pros and cons of fresh embryo transfers versus elective freeze-alls - an approach Dr. Esler has pioneered in Australia over the past fifteen years. His involvement in this study is testament to his national and international reputation as an expert in day five freeze-all cycles.

The current thought is that any surgical intervention that involves the ovary may have a detrimental effect on the ovaries’ blood supply and future stimulation ability. The reports state one out of six young women is missing out on the chance to have a baby because they havent been referred to a fertility specialist before their cancer treatment starts.
