24.01.2022 One of the best things to come out of the #aesthetics2019 conference in Sydney was the presentation last night about the Face The World charity where our industry gives back to patients whose lives have been changed forever by facial deformities. Face the World is a philanthropic initiative that provides an avenue for deserving Australians and New Zealanders, who have facial deformities that are causing significant emotional toll on their life, to have their face restored by highly trained cosmetic practitioners who have donated their expertise. 18.01.2022 A beautiful result from wrinkle relaxer injections to enlarged masseter muscles resulting in facial slimming and decreased tooth grinding and headaches. In this case the grinding was so severe that she was breaking teeth so we treated over the course of two visits and hope that results will last for 6-12 months. 11.01.2022 Time to say goodbye to my beautiful clinic space.... Covid19 has robbed me of the last few weeks of injecting in a place that has come to feel so special. Over the last few years we have laughed and cried, shared stories, support, gossip and laughter in this little room. If the walls could talk!! Many of you have been asking to make appointments but for now I am remaining closed until further guidance from the government and my colleagues at Antiaging that it is safe to retur...n to cosmetic injectables. I dont feel it is right to be using up precious PPE that could be needed in hospitals and GP clinics to do your tox and filler...plus, having worn it in my GP work I can tell you its hot and horrible! Its been a pretty challenging 12 months on so many fronts and today Ive just learned that the purchase of my new home has fallen through, at least for now. I was SO looking forward to moving tomorrow and setting up a beautiful new clinic space for us when the restrictions lift. For now, all I can do is ask that you message me if you are going to be needing an appointment, and I will put you in my wait list. 09.01.2022 Lockdown...I will not be seeing my cosmetic patients this week due to our 5 day lockdown in Perth. I will still be working in my GP role in Claremont, offering telehealth services and clinical review for those unwell enough to require it, though anyone with possible symptoms must attend a Covid clinic and not their local GP. I really hope that as a community we can do the right thing and get over this hurdle quickly. We are so lucky to be able to return to normal operations in the medical beauty world, however we cannot take this for granted and I ask that you please take note of the following guidelines about your upcoming appointment.: Please reschedule your appointment if you are unwell with any fever or respiratory symptoms, or if you so...meone in your household is sick and awaiting results of a covid19 swab. Please arrive at your appointment on time and with no makeup. This improves our overall hygiene and also speeds up the process, thus minimising our face to face contact time. Hand sanitiser is available and will be used before and after your appointment. Only one person at a time is to be in the treatment room. Please do not bring friends or children to your appointment. If you do they will be respectfully asked to wait outside. In order to allow time for me to sanitise the room after each client I do need to be efficient and this may mean that we dont have the same amount of chat time that we are used to! Please dont be offended by this! As you can imagine there is a huge amount of clientele who are all keen for treatment ASAP and to fit everyone in I have had to be ruthless with appointment times...it would be most helpful if you know what area you are treating prior to your time slot, and if you require both dermal filler and wrinkle relaxer please do let me know so I can allow us enough time. 02.01.2022 First time lip filler for this beautiful bride to be! We achieved a lovely natural result...after pics were taken immediately so some swelling is present. This will resolve over the next few days. There is a small scar on the lower lip hence the appearance there but overall we were both chuffed with the results!
