24.01.2022 This lovely young lady had naturally petite front teeth and wanted the appearance of a full smile with the spaces to be filled in. By placing Composite Resin filling material on each tooth, we were able to achieve a fantastic natural looking result.

23.01.2022 Some dental treatment can take months to complete. During this time patients can often be left with missing teeth after extractions and Implants surgery. Retainers can be a great replacement during the patients time of healing and gives time for the Implant bolts to fuse to the bone. Retainers can be made with a clear or metal wires and fake teeth to replace the missing teeth. Giving our patients the confidence to keep smiling during the healing phase of dental treatment.

21.01.2022 2020 what a challenging year but we made it! Thank you to all our wonderful patients for their patience and understand through the most challenging year at Dr Matthew Speed Dental Rooms. We are so thankful to have come out the other side of this crazy year. 14.01.2022 What a journey we have had with this lovely young lady the past 18months. She presented to us with infected baby (deciduous) Lateral Incisor teeth. We needed to make a plan for her future teeth to go with her kind smile as she did not have permanent adult teeth underneath to replace them. We began by removing the infected baby(deciduous) teeth and sent her off to the Oral Surgeon to have two Titanium Implant Bolts and gum shaping surgery. Dr Speed then had an Orthodontic... Retainer with teeth made for her to wear during the Implant healing stage. We finished off by having two beautiful Implant Crowns made to screw into the Titanium Bolts. An amazing result to finish off a crazy year! 13.01.2022 2019...What a year it has been! We've had some big changes at Dr Matthew Speed Dental Rooms with our Hygiene Therapist Rubes providing a fantastic new service looking after our patients oral and gum health and our new Receptionist Caitlin joining Tanya our Dental Nurse and Dr Speed this year. We would like to thank all our wonderful loyal patients through the year for making our days at Dr Matthew Speed Dental Rooms a great place to be. Dr Matthew Speed Dental Rooms will be closed from 3pm on Friday Dec 20th,2019 and will reopen at 8am on Monday January 13th, 2020.

13.01.2022 Look at this beauty! Today we are inserting this amazing 4-unit Implant Bridge. This bridge is screw retained into the Implant bolts in the jaw, then the screw holes are closed up with filing material for easy access later if needed. Once the screw holes are filled the Implant Bridge will look like 4 normal beautiful teeth in the mouth.

After completing Orthodontic Braces, Dr Speed placed Composite Resin filling material on the front four teeth to make them squarer and even in shape. A fantastic natural looking result.

Caitlin's front anterior teeth were very worn, Dr Speed placed composite filling material to the edges to give her teeth some length and a more natural tooth shape. As of Monday Sept 28th the Australian Dental Association along with the Australian Government have given The Dental industry the green light to go ahead with all treatment for our patients. This including your general cleaning, examinations and fillings excluding Covid patients. We have always had the highest standard of infection control and will continue too here at Dr Matthew Speed Dental Rooms, with our strict cleaning procedures after each appoi...ntment, our rooms and reception area are thoroughly cleaned and doors open to allow fresh air into our practice each day. We have extra procedures we have implemented to ensure the safest environment for our patients including: Limiting the number of patients in the waiting room, Temperature checks, mouthrinsing and Hand hygiene before and after treatment. Our patients are also welcome to wait in their car and a phone call will be made when your appointment is ready. We ask our patients to kindly inform our rooms if you are feeling unwell prior to your appointment. 05.01.2022 Today we had two old Composite Resin fillings with a chip which was causing food to get stuck. We replaced them with a beautiful Porcelain Crown and a new Composite Resin filling with nice tight contacts , preventing further food trapping

Just a short walking distance to the lift that will take you to our rooms on Level 1. Or for easy street access enter on the corner of Tooronga Rd and Toorak Rd and take the lift to level 1.
