25.01.2022 What’s everyone up to this long weekend? Are you celebrating the Richmond win, or commiserating your loss? Either way, I hope you’re having an awesome Sunday to end the long weekend. I am hoping that @danielandrewsmp will have some positive announcement to make in easing restrictions. I am so glad that golf is now allowed, and I am finally able to see my family too! ... What would you like to see lifted? What’s the thing you want to do most?

25.01.2022 I decided to redecorate my office during the COVID pandemic. Partially because I needed a little pick-me-up myself, but mainly because I wanted to provide a space that is safe, warm, calming and welcoming. A space where young women seeing a gynaecologist for the first time would feel somewhat at ease. A space where a woman or couple seeking reproductive assistance for their infertility would feel comfortable. A space where pregnant women can bring their child or toddler to,... and they won’t feel scared because it looks too sterile or too clinical. A space for all aspects of holistic women’s healthcare. A space of mine A space of yours. . . #workinprogress #asweallareinlife

24.01.2022 Yay!!!! Good news indeed. No more swabs to make us all gag

23.01.2022 As #PCOS Awareness Month draws to a close, we want to take this opportunity to highlight some management options that may help us optimise our long term health, and realise our fertility dreams

22.01.2022 Thank you @melbourne_ivf_doctors for a warm welcome! I am excited to announce that I have joined the Melbourne IVF team, in providing quality fertility care and treatment including IVF. I undertook advanced training as a Fertility Specialist in South Australia, before returning to Melbourne to complete my specialist training. I am so pleased to be returning to providing fertility treatment, adding this to my repertoire of skills to patients who need them. ... I believe this complements my ethos of providing holistic, high quality care to women (and couples) throughout their reproductive lives and beyond. #Fertility #fertilityjourney #fertilityspecialist #IVF #womenhealth #holisticcare #fertilitypreservation

22.01.2022 Part of team Create Health teaching specialists-in-training keyhole (laparoscopic) gynaecological surgery. Did you know that keyhole surgery is minimal invasive (major operations performed through small little incisions on the abdomen as opposed to a large cut), causes less pain and results in a shorter stay in hospital? It is always a delight to see future generations of specialists learning new skills, to improve and optimise patient care and outcome.

19.01.2022 During your fertility and pregnancy journey, we aim to make a positive difference to your lives... but little do you know it, YOU make a difference to our lives as well... and inspire us to continue doing what we do The love is mutual... so thank YOU back.

19.01.2022 Seeing your baby waving to you during your scan is one of the best feelings ever! We know that for some, this does not come easy. Everytime I put the scanner on, I feel so humbled and honoured to have the ability to help make it happen, to help shape your journey, to help make the journey as smooth and positive as possible. To make a difference in someone’s life - no matter how big or small. ... #fertility #pregnancy #ART #infertility #obstetricianmelbourne #melbourneobstetrician #CREATEbabies #miracles

18.01.2022 One of the best feelings - when your baby is finally at home, and in the cot you prepared, in the nursery you have been decorating for months. This post is dedicated to all the mums and dads out there. Those who wish their babies would sleep through the night in their cot. Those who wish for their babies to come home after their stay in the special care nursery / NICU. Those whose babies will not come home to their cots... I feel you. I see you. I will continue to journey w...ith you. #reflecting #journeytoparenthood #parenthood #youarenotforgotten #babiesofinstagram #melbourneobstetrician #melbournegynaecologist #fertilityjourney

17.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend, or perhaps you’re even having a long weekend and have taken the day off in anticipation of Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow. Just a little reminder that the rooms will be closed for tomorrow’s public holiday, and we will be back open on Wednesday. However, rest assured that I am still available should your baby decide to come tomorrow

17.01.2022 Everyone is ready, and everything is prepped. That moment that everyone has been holding their breath for.... that moment when you take your first breath. That first cry, that first wiggle. That moment where you’re transitioning to earth side. Not yet fully born, but already very much loved. A moment perfectly captured. #gentlecaesarean #caesarean #birth #obstetrician #obstetricianmelbourne #empoweringbirth

17.01.2022 This little post on my stories yesterday has created so much laughter on hump day! So much so that I had to do a clarification post to say I’m not the one who’s pregnant! Not taking the excitement away from my lovely patient, this is a transvaginal scan of an early pregnancy, where you can see the pregnancy sac, and the amnion (the smaller bubble that the pregnancy is in). You can also see the pregnancy (Bub) growing with limb buds, and a fetal heart rate! (Not pictured). Miracle that still puts me in awe everyday

08.01.2022 One of the best part of my job - The first ultrasound. That moment you’ve been holding your breath for. 05.01.2022 I am passionate about educating and empowering women to take charge of their health. To make informed decisions about their fertility. Join me on @melbourneivf_official Facebook Live this Wednesday 7pm AEDT to discuss fertility assessment and preservation. This includes ‘social’ egg freezing as we loosely call it. But is it TRULY ‘social’? Knowledge is power. Time is of essence. You are never too young to learn about what you can do to optimise your fertility outcomes. I ho...pe to see you on Wednesday Link on @melbourneivf_official Facebook Page

04.01.2022 Weekend breakfast catch up with my O&G gal pals and work mates. It is sooo lovely to be able to dine out again after many months. 03.01.2022 It’s been a busy start to my 2021 with arrivals of a few keen babies and performing urgent procedures and operations. We’re also back consulting in full capacity now Just finishing the day with some of my favourite things - awesome gift (golf set pens! ) from my practice secretary, and positive pregnancy scans! Constantly reminding myself that there is always good with the bad, and if 2020 taught us anything - it had to be strength and resilience!

03.01.2022 Bringing new life into the world, and being a special part of the patients’ (and couples’) journey to parenthood is truly one of the most rewarding, humbling, emotional but BEST job in the world. It’s full of meaning and purpose. I think the joy on my face is obvious, you can barely see my eyes

02.01.2022 #choosetochallenge is this year’s International Women’s Day theme. #iwd2021 Today, I pledge to continue to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. I choose to continue to advance and advocate for women’s health. I hope to close the gender gap a day at a time, one step at a time. #womenshealth #womenempowerment #advocatingforwomen #humanrights #reproductiverights

01.01.2022 How can you tell if your IUD(Intrauterine Device) in still correctly positioned? Did you know that besides just checking the IUD strings on a speculum examination or self vaginal examination, you can also have an ultrasound performed to see exactly how your IUD is sitting in the lining of your womb. Usually, if your IUD is in the right position, you should not feel any discomfort / pain.... #mirena #kyleena #cooperiud #copper #contraception #abnormaluterinebleeding #endometriosis

01.01.2022 Sometimes, we capture the funniest, most beautiful moments on ultrasound It’s like little snippets of sneak preview to the baby’s antics and personality. Who do you think did it better?? #obstetricianmelbourne #femaleobstetrician #fertilityspecialist #ivf #pregnancyjourney #fromembryotobaby #createbabies
