22.01.2022 Hello wonderful people! Unfortunately due to current Stage 4 restrictions, we are having to change the way we are seeing patients right now. As per official guidelines, as of 11:59 tonight, we are no longer able to see patients without a current gp referral. We have made the decision to close the clinic for the rest of this week, to let the dust settle a little, and give us all a bit of a break to refresh and regroup. We are hoping for a change in these guidelines, but we wil...l not know until they are announced! We will try to keep you updated as soon as we find things out, and decisions are made. In the meantime, we hope you take this forced downtime to continue looking after your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health whilst in lockdown, and know that we will be here to help you out in whatever way we can right now, and in the future! If you are having any issues, please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message on here, or give the clinic a quick call. We will all get through this rough historic moment together as a community, and I look forward to the day we can all celebrate once again! (With hugging allowed again!) Much love, Dr Nyree

20.01.2022 Hey everyone, just a quick message that I will be returning to Australia in mid November, so after a bit of jet lag grace period, will be available for bookings again!! Please pm me to express your interest. I will text everyone once I am back in the country (as my work phone is still in Aus). Have a wonderful day everyone!!

19.01.2022 Hi everyone, After a long a considered discussion with the other practitioners at the practice, we have come to the tough decision to close our doors for a little while. We are making this decision before the government forces our hand, as it no longer feels safe to be offering treatment to everyone, and we would prefer to do the right thing for the community, rather than keep the business open for money’s sake! We all felt a shift in the practice yesterday, and had to really... listen to our gut intuition, which is so important! As much as we know we are doing the right thing in isolating when not in the clinic, we cannot guarantee the same of everyone walking through our doors, and I know it would break my heart if anyone got sick because of my actions. I thank you all for the understanding, and I know if we all do our part, we will be back to building a better community/nation in no time. Please urge your loved ones, now is not the time for catching up with friends, now is the time to stay at home! I know there is a lot of panic and widespread fear with this thing, but let’s focus on the positives... The universe has given us the perfect opportunity to take time for ourselves, and calm our systems! We are all so wound up and stressed these days, so let’s make use of the abundance of free time we are given! Let’s use this down time to do something positive and slow down as a collected community! We will be keeping our doors open until lunchtime today, so if you are struggling, please let us know, and we will do our best to get you in. We will still be offering immune boosting supplements, and have plenty of vit C in stock for those that need a top up also! Thank you all for being the most awesome versions of yourselves that you can be, and I will see you all real soon! Signing off for now, but not forever! (I literally can’t leave the country again for a while guys, so you are stuck with me) Nyree xx

14.01.2022 Hi everyone, I am pleased to announce we are back into a nearly normal routine again after hibernating during the first round of Covid! It has been so fantastic to see a lot of your wonderful faces recently as we have transitioned into getting people back in, but it would be even better to see more! That’s why it is exciting to announce we have opened up a few different shifts. I will now be taking on patients Mon 2-6pm Thurs 2-6pm Alternating Wed/Sat 9am-1pm... If you would like an appointment for yourself, a friend, or anyone really, please do not hesitate to ring the clinic on 9770 6156, and the girls will find the perfect spot for you. We have been booking up fairly quickly with our reduced hours, so if you want a particular time/day, make sure to book in advance. As is the new normal, if you have any mild cold/flu symptoms or have returned from overseas, please get tested, and importantly, PLEASE ISOLATE until you get the results! We need to be responsible for our other patients, however we cannot do so if everyone is not doing the right thing. If in doubt, get tested! I look forward to seeing you all, and catching up on what you have been getting up to in isolation/ over the school holidays! Nyree xx

13.01.2022 Hey guys, I know it’s a long video, but I urge you all to check it out. If even 1 person decides to self isolate because of these very honest words, then I’ve done my job in sharing! I know it may seem over the top, and scary, but we need to make a change before things get out of hand! Please share with your loved ones, and be the change we desperately need right now! #beahero (day 5 for me)

08.01.2022 Hi everybody! Now is the time to get a nice chiro check after the fun and stress that is easter!! What better way to help your body with the added stress of digesting all that extra chocolate, than getting your nerves and brain switched on!! Hope to see you all soon Nyree

07.01.2022 Adventure Time!! So one of the new years resolutions I personally have made, is to get out in the sunshine more, and surround myself with nature more often. So what better time to talk about the benefits of vitamin D to our daily health?! So what is it?... Vitamin D is a group of fat soluble secosteroids, which are responsible for helping the gut absorb calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate and zinc, as well as helping the cells in your body to communicate properly, and assist in your immune function. Our biggest source of vitamin D exposure comes from direct sunlight to the skin, where it is chemically changed within the liver to become useable. It is the only Vitamin the body can make itself (with the help of sunlight), and doesn’t have to come from a food source. Generally speaking, Vitamin D helps us to maintain: - Strong bones and teeth - Healthy immune system - Heart and circulation function - Healthy lungs and airways - Brain development - Anti-cancer effects A lack of Vitamin D has been linked to bone softening disorders such as rickets or osteomalacia, as well as some cancers, asthma, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, Alzheimer’s, MS, and chon’s disease. Not anything much to look forward to in that list! So what can you do to help yourself? Easy, head outside in that sunshine and make the most of the fabulous weather (when Melbourne permits of course) Try to aim for at least 15 minutes a day in the sunshine with as much exposed skin as you can manage. Try to aim for those times where UV radiation is decreased such as in the mornings, to decrease the risk of skin cancers and sunburn. In the wintertime, obviously it is harder to find the motivation, or the actual sunshine. Unfortunately, this is the time of year we tend to be lacking in vitamin D, so try and get as much exposure as you can (or booking a nice Caribbean holiday works just as well, if not better) So I guess the moral of this story is enjoy the sunshine while its here, and if you need any fun places to go on an outdoor adventure, I can recommend some great Victorian gems the next time you come in for a check. Don’t forget that our office is back running for the new year, so don’t forget to come in and get fine tuned so we can keep you running at your best version of you! Nyree :) Office: 9088 4100 Mobile: 0490 253 219 Open Mondays and Wednesdays 8am-6pm

01.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope you are all safe and sane inside! Just a shoutout to anyone still looking for hand sani in these times of craziness, please check out this Instagram post from a lovely patient of ours. She has set up a home business making batches of sanitiser, following WHO guidelines, and also has some info up on the essential oils she uses in them, and where these may not be safe for certain people. Let’s help support our community in this time of need, and buy locally! Her insta is alchemic_essences for anyone that may want to check it out or have further questions. Stay safe everyone xx
