08.01.2022 I recently spent the afternoon with West Australian paraglider Dan Binks (also happens to be my son), filming as he soared along the slopes overlooking Yallingup, in Western Australia's South West. The coastline beneath his wing was amazing, shifting from the well known white sun baking beaches, to the famous "Yallingup Mainbreak" - one of Australia's iconic surfing waves, finally gliding over the rugged limestone cliffs of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge to the north. In this ...image you can see Dan flying on the "knife's edge", performing amazing manoeuvres in the air, with the township of Yallingup watching from far below. Dan was able to "whisper to the wind" and generate enough lift to fly the full length of the bay when other pilots were unable to. His uncanny ability to see the wind allows him to coax more flight from his paraglider and fly while others watch on. This is a beautiful image that is for sale and will look amazing printed and framed.

08.01.2022 This image was taken directly overhead Dan Binks as he coaxed enough lift from the wind to keep flying. This is where skill comes to the fore, as landing in the ocean off Yallingup is simply not an option. This image is for sale as a high quality print. Message me for details.
