25.01.2022 This guys heart attack this morning was priceless. Would you keep swimming if they were dolphins I’d stop for a look, maybe he was unsure

25.01.2022 Here’s more from the other day Ok it’s time to make a few things clear. I had a meeting with council and the Lifegaurds almost 2years back around grey nurse sharks. We need to learn to coexist with these sharks as they are a regular visitor to #bondibeach. Especially certain times of the year as they can be around for days and weeks at a time. If we chose to sound the alarm each time , no one would be in the water at certain periods of the year. I get a lot of people saying... grey nurse sharks are harmless and yes I tend to agree BUT! there has been a few minor incidents in the past relating to these sharks. My advise is to stay clear of the salmon schools , not just for Norman but any other more dangerous sharks as I’ve seen loads charge at these schools from deeper water. In saying all this if I do see the behaviour of any grey nurse change we will inform you. So I hope the message is clear !! . STAY OUT OF SALMON SCHOOLS IF YOU FEAR SHARKS. . 21.01.2022 So stoked to spot these beautiful #cownoserays again. This time off #byronbay . . Cownose rays get their name from their unique forehead, which resembles the nose of a cow. They are brown to olive-colored on top with no spots, and pale below. Cownose males are about 2 feet across. Females are 2-3 feet across.The tail is about twice as long as the body. Beach-goers sometimes mistake these rays for sharks. 18.01.2022 Rain this morning. Here’s take 2 when Billy the #bronzewhaler #shark came in for another cruise with the #salmon a couple of days back . Sharks are only interested in fish , but mistakes can occur. As you know the surfers decided to stay in this time , I can only tell them what’s around and it’s their choice. I would never turn a blind eye to what I see on the drone , just in case.

16.01.2022 Well it’s was an extremely hard morning to create a video, low light , murky water , weed and a bit of sun glare and I’m actually amazed at all the characters that were out there today considering the conditions. It’s been a huge pattern when the conditions are like this that I don’t see any sea life but not this occasion. I had Norman , Wally , Raymond, Raylene and their son Sonray , Gregory the groper and a new comer , one very skinny grey nurse that we can name oh and of course the Salmon but there’s too many of those dudes to name

15.01.2022 What a little legend @jasperoxley_ was , I told him there was a new #greynurse out there that I haven’t seen before (had a distinct black marking and was very inquisitive )but he was still keen for a wave , so he we went out. I told him I’d keep a close eye on him for him but it did get a little too close at one point so he got out for a little while but then went straight back in. 13.01.2022 This shark just wanted to say gday to the Dollies at #sealrocks It was an amazing trek for me and this just topped it off. Its so amazing to see different species mixing together from the air Altogether I counted 15 bull sharks and this shark decided to leave the pack. There were some swimmers /surfers on the beach so I let them know. After reviewing the footage I believe this particular shark to be a Bronze Whaler. Its quite hard to tell when the waters rippled .

02.01.2022 Crazy #marinelife action this morning at #bondibeach. Guys I recommend do not swim in the salmon schools and swim on the beach side if you can as I’ve seen the more dangerous sharks approach from the outside on many occasions.
