04.01.2022 Drover’s has some media articles published over the last few weeks. When Queensland shut the borders in August, WIN news screened the truck and caravan entering back into Queensland. However before we left Albury, we had heard about people being verbally abused, vechicles being damaged and the list of incidents goes on. We were victimised in Albury and have heard of cars being keyed due to Victorian plates on vehicles in Queensland and WA.... So we decided to place signs on all of the vehicles. Some of the following info I posted in a previous post, however, The Chronicle the Toowoomba newspaper came across our car and a story was published about our sign. ........ On the 3rd of August, this actually happened to us, we were residing in a little place 18 km north of Albury in NSW called Table Top for 4 weeks after the Victorian border closures, below, this is what I wrote in my FB profile. See below. ....... Absolutely disgusted in they way we have been treated today. Just because our business has a Victoria address, and displays Victorian registration plates, DOES NOT give Jacks Tyers in Albury. ...... the right to discriminate against a vehicle with Victorian Plates on it or us personally. We have the permits and live inside the bubble then and have been through self isolation. It was the actual owner of Jacks Tyers who treated us like shit and refused to even work or touch our vehicle and then made it quite obvious to wipe down the area thoroughly where Ed stood. Ed was accused of being a liar. ........ Well I really hope things are going poorly for you and it’s quite obviously you are doing well to keep your doors open, and don’t need the money and refuse to work on our vehicle which has developed a steering wobble and has got worse over the last 24 - 48hour. A simple wheel alignment, balance and rotation. If this is how people are treating fellow human beings I feel sorry for anyone who has Victorian number plates wh have been victimised already and had there vehicle’s damaged Looks like we’ll have to put signs up in our vehicles and hopefully we’ll have no damage done On a brighter note, a big shout out to BOB JANE T-MART Albury for taking the job on. Awesome job guys. Our truck, caravan and Land Cruiser all displayed those signs and to date we have had no damage done, and we are greatful. The following article was written on the 25th if August to make people aware, that not everyone has crossed the border illegally or done the wrong thing, I was personally questioned heavily at the border crossing and had to show proof of where we had been and I passed because I was honest, and had all the information required to cross back into Queensland. We have a Queensland residence and Queensland license.

04.01.2022 We are all packed and ready to go. Well we leave Toowoomba today on our way up to Cairns for the Big Boys Toys. This will be our first our first show since March.
