25.01.2022 Our Eve Babies graduating class. Our midwives, Lauren and Clair, run a weekly informal postnatal Mothers support group and this is their current batch of gorgeous little ones!

25.01.2022 Big day for me and Hatch Private Maternity. Six babies in 24 hours. Exciting times. Got selfies with all the new little Hatchlings today on my ward round (shared with permission).

24.01.2022 This was my day yesterday. I was on the public birth suite for 24 hours on my regular rostered shift and we really pushed the limit of what the Mater could achieve. Couldnt have done it without wonderful staff!

24.01.2022 Good morning Brisbane! Ive been up for a fair bit of the night, but this is the view from the window where I am at the moment. If only babies stuck to business hours

23.01.2022 Gotta love a postnatal visit. Check out this cutie!!

23.01.2022 For all my lovely Mums and Dads, my practice is now offering a newborn first aid course!

21.01.2022 Visited by some of my babies today. The Davey triplets who I delivered 5 years ago and their baby sister, just 6 weeks old. Thanks Alana for being my first mum to have FOUR babies with me!!

21.01.2022 Cute baby cuddles. One of the best parts of my job.

20.01.2022 Visited by one of my recent babies. What a lovely surprise! #pbcexpo #matermothers Eve Health Mater Mothers

19.01.2022 Sitting around a table in the O&G council room with a bunch of my colleagues for the next 2 days preparing to run the specialist exams on Sunday. Good luck to all the candidates!!

18.01.2022 How cool to see a barefoot pregnant chick rocking the stage at QPAC, holding the audience in the palm of her hand. What a great concert from Missy Higgins!

17.01.2022 I’m a huge fan of this. I think just about every single mother should consider seeing a physio at some stage during her pregnancy. So many benefits!! https://www.birthtrauma.org.au/seeing-a-pelvic-health-phys/

16.01.2022 Meet Tommy. He's the third child in his family that I've had the privilege to help bring into the world (I looked after his Mum, Georgie through all three pregnancies and was at the birth of both of his older sisters). I had a lovely time with him today and frankly, I think his Mum was pretty lucky that we gave him back at all. Our entire office was smitten - postnatal visits are the coolest!!

16.01.2022 Shout out to my in-laws - Anushka and Eddie - who had their baby in the back of the car on the way to hospital on Monday night. Not sure if Eddie has more respect for my job, or less respect for my job now. He seems to have done an awesome job at his first delivery!!

13.01.2022 Happy times!! Welcome to the world, baby Maria!!

13.01.2022 Final session - in a room with 60 of my fellow O&G colleagues debating and finalising the pass mark for the exam. Tomorrow is the big day - good luck to the candidates!

13.01.2022 At birth and 6weeks later. My job is the best!

13.01.2022 Impressive finish to the day with a true hero, Dr Barry Kirby - doing amazing things for maternal health in PNG. Check it out at www.thehandsofrescue.org.au

11.01.2022 Visited by this terrific trio a couple of weeks ago. Happy first birthday to the triplets!! You all look so amazing and bouncing and healthy!!

11.01.2022 Had my hands full today at a postnatal visit today!!

10.01.2022 Do yourself a favour. Find half an hour and watch this Australian Story. It's all about the MFM unit at the Mater Hospital and their work on intrauterine surgery on Spina Bifida. I work at a very cool institution with great people!!

10.01.2022 One of my most precious postnatal visits. James is a gorgeous little man with an extra chromosome, a fabulous smile and an adoring Mum and Dad.

09.01.2022 Examiner briefing - about to embark on a day of examining the next generation of specialist obstetricians and gynaecologists. Good luck to all my junior colleagues sitting their oral exam today.

09.01.2022 In the chaos of the world at the moment and the media saturation of our current viral related problems, can I please plead with you to remember this woman? She is one of the most remarkable human beings to have ever lived, has done extraordinary things with her life and her obituary and tributes/profiles should be featured on the front page of every newspaper in the country and our leaders should all be clamouring to honour her. Alas, I fear she will be a footnote in the media cycle and she deserves more than that. Vale Catherine Hamlin.

09.01.2022 Privileged to be speaking tonight at a Vietnamese Community Fundraiser for the Mater Hospital. Amazing group of people here tonight who really want to give back. Very very impressed!!

08.01.2022 To all the wonderful Mothers out there, I hope you all have a fantastic day on Sunday. But please spare a moment to read this from the wonderful Rebecca Sparrow, about all the Mothers of those lost too early. Bec is one of those Mums and her writing on it has been an inspiration to me when dealing with the dark days of my job.

08.01.2022 Welcome to the team, Alex.

07.01.2022 Whole weekend training the next generation of specialists at our first year surgical skills workshop.

03.01.2022 Day 1 of the MercyPerinatal Global Obstetric Update - probably the premier obstetric conference in Australia. 300 delegates, sold out 6 months ago, world experts here to give opinions and update us all. And every single expert presenting today was a woman. Very impressed - phenomenal people, accomplished, respected and WAY smarter than me!! Not surprised, just pointing it out.

03.01.2022 Photo of me with one of my most joyous patients from this year.

03.01.2022 Visited by this terrific trio a couple of weeks ago. Happy first birthday to the triplets!! You all look so amazing and bouncing and healthy!!

03.01.2022 I really have to put up more of these photos. This is baby Gabriella visiting me with her big sister, Cara (who I also delivered). Such a lovely bright moment in my day!!

03.01.2022 Getting my learning on. In a room with 300 obstetricians and midwives.

02.01.2022 To all the Dads out there - You're all so enormously special and we don't want you to ever forget it. Some of my most special moments have been spent looking at the faces of fathers in the delivery room and the operating theatre. I also have really clear memories of my feelings when my own boys were born. Overwhelmed doesn't even begin to describe it. Happy Father's Day!!

02.01.2022 Congratulations to the Croll family on the safe arrival of their gorgeous triplets. I've been privileged to be on the journey with you and excited to have a cuddle with the trio before you left hospital - handling three at once is quite difficult!!. Shared with permission.
