Sometimes it's because of fear, sometimes your self-doubts or sometimes you just want to rest and watch movies (guilty!) ... One thing that I have learnt in my 10+ years of business.. if you want to have a great product/service/work.. You must accept that the start of anything will almost NEVER be perfect! and that is OKAY Even the master was once a beginner, but they never gave up and kept going until they eventually became the master! I know that I was guilty of it in the early stages of my business! @drrajayasmin The thing is, you know perfectionism is the key reason for.. - procrastination... - that you're afraid to show up - you're unable to meet deadlines So how to interrupt this perfectionism behaviour? By BEING AWARE of it in the first place! What is something that you are a perfectionist about? For example, I used to assume that in my events, everything needed to go perfect! all according to plan. Which is certainly never the case! Interrupt that pattern! You know that almost nothing will be perfect! There will always be problems in events, always last minute changes, always problems you never thought about etc.. Allow yourself to be a student and be open to problems that will eventually rise. 09.01.2022 If I were to ask you... Who is your target market? What is your answer? When I first started my coaching business, I targetted, very broadly "business owner." I thought it was a specific enough target market for my profession! But what I didn't realise, was I was attracting EVERY TYPE of businessowner. The problem?... I targetted "everyone" who was a business owner. And so what happened is I end up struggling with "targetting" itself. How do I create content that helps "Everyone?" Even if I could, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get quality customers from generic content. People do not see you as an expert, so why do they bother going to you for advice? This is my thoughts on why having a specific target market is important to see your business really grow in a positive direction! My tips: You must sit down to really understand: Who is your Avatar. What is their problems? What do they need? How can you help? 06.01.2022 The power of positive thinking is the ability to be certain in yourself even when nothing in the environment supports you! That's right, Even in a pandemic, even if your partner, family or friends doesn't support you or even if your mind is filled with overwhelming self-doubt!... Postive thinking means you know it is an ACTIVE CHOICE for allowing anything stop you. And you must choose NOT to allow it. Personally, this mindset have changed how I ran my coaching business. Previously, I was stuck, not making sales and I felt like nothing was going right. Bombarded with clients saying I was "too expensive." It hurt alot in the beginning. But I kept going. I kept trying new strategies. I kept showing up. And now, I do not allow rejection to stop me. I am tougher than before and I will keep going until I achieve my dream vision!
