25.01.2022 This patient underwent removal of breast implants & capsules by Dr Alzubaidy. She first presented to the Emergency Department with generalised weakness, skin sensitivities and aches. She was unable to exercise due to her breast pain. Having breast implants was giving her anxiety. She was very happy with the outcome and her cosmesis post surgery! 22.01.2022 URGENT UPDATE RE: VISITOR POLICY: Due to recently announced COVID-19 cases in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, extra restrictions will be implemented from 8.00am... on August 29 in accordance with Queensland Health guidelines. It’s important for our patients to be aware of the following: You will notice that all staff (including non-clinical) and visitors will be required to continuously wear a surgical mask during their routine activities throughout the entire shift. This doesn’t apply to patients in most circumstances unless they request one. Everyone entering the hospital will continue to be screened. Our screening staff will be given a list of patients and approved visitors. Doctors can continue booking their patient appointments and surgeries as per the current guidelines. VISITOR RESTRICTIONS The Queensland Government requires the following new rules around visiting hospitals in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, effective from 8am Saturday 29 August. You can now only visit someone in hospital if you are: The parents, guardians or carers for a patient under the age of 18 Providing end-of-life support A partner and /or support person/s for a patient admitted for care related to their pregnancy All other patient visitors must receive approval from the Director of Nursing. This can be escalated via the patients nurse or by calling the hospital Switchboard on 55 300 300.
