22.01.2022 Im very proud to support the Heart of Australia, and my friend and colleague, Dr Rolf Gomes in his initiative to deliver Cardiology (and other) services to regional Queensland. My mother grew up near Charleville, one of the towns that I now visit every month on the Heart of Australia Truck. I hope that through media and social media coverage, the Heart of Australia can gather support and funding to continue to expand this service. http://iview.abc.net.au/prog/australian-story/NC1601Q025S00

01.01.2022 Have you seen the ECG Sensors for smartphones? They are small and convenient and give patients timely access to record their ECGs - and the ability to then bring that information to their consultation. Detecting Atrial Fibrillation in particular is important, as it is associated with a 500% increased risk of stroke. http://www.hrsonline.org//Pre/20154/05/ECG-On-Smartphones
