24.01.2022 Antibiotics are often misused when trying to prevent and treat diseases of birds. It is important to first determine that a bacterial infection is a significant part of the disease process, and then to determine what sort of infection it is, and which antibiotics we also kill many of the helpful normal bacteria and we usually suppress the birds immune systems. Often there are better methods of management. We can help you learn about them! Dr. Ross Perry's Caring for Birds With Love and Gratitude Book! 23.01.2022 There is an art and skill to asking questions via dowsing that would often be very different from that used by a lawyer or regular investigative journalist. The quality of the questions affects the quality of the answers. Questions expressed in language, be it silently within or verbally must be clear, precise and free from ambiguity. 22.01.2022 The fleshy and bony end of this budgie’s wing became so bruised and injured as a result of the budgie trying to fly with a wing clipped so severely that there were no feathers sufficiently long to stop the fleshy tip of the wing basing the ground. Gangrene of the bruised tip lead to self mutilation and loss of the terminal bone of the wing as well. More on this in Dr. Ross Perry's Budgie Book Available in an e- book version @ http://www.goldcoastbirdvet.com//%22Budgie_Book%22_e-Book%
22.01.2022 To examine the wings extend the wings parallel to the breast bone rather than at 90 degrees to it to minimise risk of breaking the wing if the budgie struggles.... However I suggest both calming the budgie and securing its wings against its body with the palm of your hand as well as restraining the head and neck for most aspects of the physical examination. Try to finish the examination with some more gentling. There's a lot of interested topics here in Dr. Ross Perry's Budgie Book! 21.01.2022 Breathing laboured? Rapid panting? Hot? If the bird is panting rapidly and shallowly and has its wings held out from its body and its feathers flat onto its body it is probably too hot, and/or physically exhausted aftter strenuous exercise, struggle or convulsions. To cool the bird, direct a fan towards the bird over a shallow dish or tray of cold water. Read and order now a Dr. Ross Perry's Caring for Birds with Love and Gratitude Book now! Book. 09.01.2022 Strongyle worms in birds are very small worms to the naked eye that are often blood suckers in the small intestines. Strongyle eggs are oval in outline, non-pigmented, and have a very thin shell wall and can usually be recognised at 100x and 400x magnifications. Within the shell wall there are usually 8 -16 slightly granular cells or a developing larva. Some strongyle eggs are as large as roundworm eggs but most are much smaller. 04.01.2022 Some birds such as lorikeets and some nectivorous birds normally pass less formed more liquid faeces and it can be much harder to recognise true diarrhoea in these species. Rainbow Lorikeet droppings with some soft formed as well as unformed faecal components and yellow urates suggesting recent trauma/bruising and/or liver disease. 02.01.2022 In my early days of dowsing, before I had created the Magic Mirror described below, I found myself having multiple experiences with Reptilians and had to clear various ones repeatedly. As we approached the end of 2012 many if not most or all reptilians are being disconnected from Earth and the Embodiments of Love incarnated here. This is being done by highly aware people as well as by various discarnate spiritual beings assisting us as aspects of the co-creation of a new, sus...tainable, joyful world in which we can live in abundance, prosperity, joy and grace. 01.01.2022 Another taming procedure involves tunneling your cockatiel through one partially clenched hand into the other repeatedly. Some cockatiels love this. Similarly you might encourage your cockatiel to climb into one sleeve or under your shirt or blouse at waist level and allow the cockatiel to crawl around until it finds its way out. Some cockatiels really like this, whereas others do not. More tips in taming your Cockatiels in Dr. Ross Perry's Cockatiel Book!
