25.01.2022 https://www.heraldsun.com.au//c8d18081d7bb45f9553b0e092c43 Me and Ally doing our Telemedicine consulting for Northcote Leader it has absolutely amazing to be able to continue to help our clients and their fur babies remotely!

25.01.2022 Ohh Seamus, thank you so much for your letter it means the world to us xxx

24.01.2022 Pic collage of pets@vets during iso

23.01.2022 I loved seeing this at our local wetlands on my morning walk! So wonderful to see an initiative that educates and entertains our children And from me... let’s continue to enjoy our little Duckie friends, and to keep them healthy and safe please don’t feed them bread (they have plenty of natural healthy food sources in the wetlands) and keep your dog on its lead around the wetlands to help protect the ducks and especially their babies when nesting!

21.01.2022 A quick pic collage of some of my Saturday Socially distanced consults - Billie, Louis, Peppa, Kevin, Hendrix, Dougie and Chedder all so well behaved, I definitely got my share of puppy and kitten cuddles!!

20.01.2022 Dudleys had a pretty tough few days after being attacked by another dog when our walking with his mum, his wounds will take a while to heal with many bandage changes but thankfully he is now on the mend!

16.01.2022 Excuse the ageing ear shot but I could t help but show off the amazing earnings Dr Hannah suprised me with today. We see a lot of pet chickens at Thornbury Vet Hospital and I am just a little obsessed with these wonderful birds

15.01.2022 Have you ever wondered how birds produce eggs? The ovary develops follicles (yolks) which are caught by the infundibulum, they pass down the oviduct to gain protein (whites) and membranes, before getting a shell in the uterus. It then rests in the cloaca until ready to lay. One of the most common illnesses we see in chickens is egg yolk peritonitis - see the gap between the ovary and the infundibulum, the yolk has to be "caught" by the infundibulum to travel the normal way, if it is missed the yolk sits in the coelomic (abdominal cavity) and causes a potentially fatal peritonitis. 13.01.2022 ISO care and social distancing in Clinic - no client contact consults may be scary for you to leave your babies in our care without you, but your fur babies are super relaxed during their visits and come out of their shell a lot more - I’ve been getting so many kitty cat smooches and puppies sitting on my lap I it. Just like little Dorian here Ps excuse the iso hair!

01.01.2022 I was so excited to see that ShareWaste now has community composting at Walter Reserve, what a great initiative to reduce food waste for those of us with smaller yards in Ascot Vale. I know this little detour will now be part of my daily walk with Ally!
