10.01.2022 ***** EVACUATION CENTRES HAVE BEEN INUNDATED WITH DONATIONS ***** Thank you to everyone who has donated items but unfortunately the evacuation centres are that full with items they have shipped them all off to The Salvation Army.. If you would still like to donate, there is maybe posting on Gumtree or your local buy swap and sell pages and transferring to Salvation Army as they are taking cash donations.. ... . I am still attending the collection point as promised and will be holding garage sales and market stalls to turn what items we get into cash. We have organised to pick up a donation bucket from Wollondilly Council just after Christmas and will be continuing after the Christmas public holidays.. First of all.. A massive thank you to all the men and women out there doing their best to do what they can. You guys are doing an amazing job and Australia cant thank you enough. Unfortunately, the fires have won a few times and homes have been lost and everything is gone. We are organising a collection point if anyone would like to donate. Items needed: - clothing for men and women of all ages and sizes. Including shoes - kids clothing and items - toys (help cheer the little ones up) - bottled water or food items - hygiene products soaps/shampoos/conditioners - underwear (brand new of course!!) - blankets/pillows etc - services! I can imagine there is going to be a massive clean up so any help is good help. Anything else you can think of would be great. Collection point will be at Fairfax Reserve in Harrington Park on Monday between 4-5 If you cant make it then pls pm us and we can sort something out.
