19.01.2022 This week the Federal Government announced a $1.1 billion package to boost Medicare and mental health during the coronavirus outbreak. From Monday 30th March to 30th September all Australians eligible to receive services under Medicare will be able to access bulk-billed psychological services delivered via telehealth (i.e. videoconference or phone), if clinically appropriate. In order to see a psychologist during this difficult time, your General Practitioner will need to com...plete a Mental Health Care Plan. Your GP will also be able to offer you an appointment through Telehealth. My private practice is located in Kew and as a Clinical Psychologist I work with both adults and children. During this time I am offering flexible and accessible telehealth services. As social distancing may also impact on social connections, I am particularly mindful of expecting and new mothers adjustment to motherhood.
