20.01.2022 We said goodbye to 2 staff members recently! Dr Sheelagh Beech, after 50 years of dentistry has decided to put down the gloves/dental instruments and officially retire! Sheelagh spent 16 passionate years with us at Dr Pohan and Associates and is now off to enjoying her retirement! May all the years ahead bring you great joy and relaxation. Our Hygienist, Chin is currently stuck in China and is unable to return home. In addition, Lindsey and Siobhan our other hygienists are currently on maternity leave, leaving us just one hygienist Rachelle who is working hard to meet these needs. Her early career started as a dental assistant in the Royal Australian Navy. After an overseas deployment working alongside international dental hygienists, Rachelle aspired to become a hygienist and graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne.... Georgia joined the team in 2014 as a Dental Assistant and after several years with the practice she relocated to Queensland which provided an opportunity to further her experience working alongside a Prosthodontist in Brisbanes CBD. Georgia has since returned to us in 2018 where she provides assistance across the practice in a variety of roles. Outside of work you will find Georgia keeping busy playing a number of sports including cricket, football and soccer.

04.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM Dr. Arshia Singh- Dentist Graduated from LaTrobe University, Rural Dental School in 2012 and has worked in Devonport since. She is passionate about providing a high standard of dentistry for her patients in a gentle and caring setting.... Several years of further education has allowed Arshia to develop her special interests in Dental Sleep Medicine and Orthodontics, and she enjoys treating her patients in a more holistic manner. The wider community has always held importance to her and over the years she has volunteered in India and Sri Lanka, as well as, doing community dental education talks in Devonport itself. Outside of Dentistry, she enjoys travel, with a focus on nature and wildlife and volunteers locally at the Lillico Penguin viewing platform!
