25.01.2022 Although 90% of our business involves servicing and repairs, we also do the occasional restoration project. This is an example of a 'body-off resto' that we have completed. We stripped this 1961 VW Beetle and rebuilt her from the ground up. We did all the body work, including paint, repairs and subtle alterations. We built her a gutsy little 84HP 1915cc engine. We also fully refitted a new interior, from soundproofing to hood lining.

21.01.2022 IS YOUR CAR OVERDUE FOR A SERVICE ?? When your oil filter is not replaced regularly, the engine oil breaks down becoming a gritty sludge-like tar. Pictured is the inside of an engine cylinder head from a 5 year old car that has not had regular maintenance/servicing completed. This tar-like residue is now restricting the flow of oil around the engine causing major engine wear and has contributed to the engine overheating and the vehicle breaking down.... Unfortunately this head cannot be cleaned thoroughly enough to ensure these deposits are removed entirely. This engine will need to be replaced with a new engine which is a very expensive exercise. Regular servicing would have avoided this costly repair. Please ensure regular servicing is completed on your vehicle/s. 19.01.2022 Have you checked your tyres pressures lately? Ensuring they are correct will limit wear and tear which will prolong the life of your tyres and will also give you better fuel economy. The tyres of a standard family sedan should run at around 34 PSI and 40-45 PSI in a standard four wheel drive. ...
