19.01.2022 As the weather is warming up we know that member sign ons are starting in most states. The 2021 Australian Youth Championships are scheduled for 11-23 January ...2021 in Brisbane. Water Polo Australia has released the competition manual for the 2021 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships to help Clubs in their preparation. WPA is currently working with the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council around developing our COVID safe plans. We appreciate with border restrictions and lock downs in place in some parts of the country, there is uncertainty around commitment to travel and team nominations. So here are some steps we are taking to help out: - Team Nominations for the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships (AYWPC) will be delayed opening until October - to provide further time to gain a clearer picture around border restrictions. - 12 October - a decision will be made by Water Polo Australia in relation to the whether the AYWPC will proceed during the previously published dates or a decision made to postpone the Championships to later in 2021 - If the event proceeds as previously published in January - entries will open following the decision in mid October.
