04.01.2022 Looking for quality, one on one drum lessons in Enmore? Introducing our incredible drum teachers here at Drums & Percussion Co-Op! Dale Cleary.... Beginning his playing and teaching career in 1982, Dale has had the opportunity to study with a wide range of teachers too many to name including percussionist Sunil de Silva (INXS, Frank Sinatra), to drum set with players such as Virgil Donati (Allan Holdsworth, Southern Sons), Peter Luscombe (Rockquiz, Paul Kelly) and Roy Burns (Benny Goodman). Dale has worked as both a drummer and percussionist in styles ranging from contemporary western music to Brazilian samba and Latin salsa. 36 years as a player and teacher has given Dale a keen insight into what students require and need. Chris Allison. With 18 years experience behind the kit, Chris has been fortunate enough to play drums around Australia playing various styles of music - from prog to blues, from free-jazz to punk. Having studied drums with some of Australias finest drummers (most notable Dr Dave Goodman & Dr Andy Gander, among others) Chris completed a bachelor of music in drum set performance at the Australian Institute of Music in 2007. Teaching has been a large part of the last 10+ years, educating students of all ages & playing levels about the ins & outs of drumming across a broad range of styles and techniques. Hes also been fortunate to work in the studio with Grammy & ARIA nominated producers as both a session musician & in his own projects. Andrew Hutch Hutchings Andrews formative drumming years began with Phil Stitt at the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium of Music before pursuing studies in Sydney at the Contemporary Music Centre of Australia (CMC) and later with Danny Heifetz (Mr Bungle, Secret Chiefs). With over 20 years playing experience, Andrew has toured extensively nationally and internationally with artists including Jesse Morris Band and electronic mastermind Mr. Bill. With a long list of projects Andrew has applied his traditional studies to a broad array of situations, gaining live experience in styles ranging from metal to jazz, hip hop, boogaloo, reggae and largely drum n bass, dance and experimental electronic.
