10.01.2022 So nice to see this combo! I remember Nasira as a toddler at a Mamady Keita drum camp I attended on Mishima island in Japan, gosh what year was that? Ken Tokuda , ? ) I attended a similar camp some years later, same place, and the Masters in residence at that time were Famoudou Konate and Babara Bangoura. It was a-ma-zing! These dundunba rhythms evoke such fond memories of Guinea and of Japan. Go Nasira go!
