These fires destroyed 21% of the total MidCoast local government area. Join us over the next five days and turn that outrage into action. It can be a phone call or an email and your message can be as simple as stating that you would like your opposition to the planned logging of Bulga State Forest noted. Today let’s give Matt Kean, NSW Minister for Energy and Environment, a call. In July he boldly stated he wanted to see the NSW koala population doubled by 2050 and yesterday he opened a new National Park in the Southern Highlands, saying that he wants to make sure our kids, and their kids, and their kids are able to see koalas in the wild for many years into the future. The PM has handed another $10million to Fox Sports to broadcast women’s and nic...he sport, taking the total amount of corporate welfare under this program to Murdoch to $40million. The Morrison Government is handing out millions of dollars of taxpayer money to a private, corporate broadcaster while slashing funding at the public broadcaster. Any support for the broadcast of women’s sport should be going to the ABC and SBS which fans can watch for no further cost.
