23.01.2022 Poley... definitely not the favourite

21.01.2022 It was take your apprentice to work day today! Wyndora Secret having a gallop to show me what she’s capable of at work. Very impressed with her!!

20.01.2022 Meet the two new additions! Dryandra Sugar and Dryandra Poley! These two crackers are the last Bridie pups, she’s now retired from breeding and can concentrate on being a working Mum

20.01.2022 I think we all could apply these words to at least one of our dogs!

19.01.2022 Dryandra Sugar having a little look. Only just switching on but a bit of potential there I reckon

19.01.2022 Pups enjoying some fresh air today! Growing out real nice.

19.01.2022 Bridie has returned from maternity leave and straight back into the big jobs! Lamb marking, mustering and drenching this week!

18.01.2022 Sun’s out gun’s out! Got the future champions out getting some vitamin D!

15.01.2022 Latest lot of apprentices sleeping on it #milkcoma #dryandrastockdogs

15.01.2022 Thank you so very much to Jacky Darcy of Jacky Darcy of Wet Nose Animal Paintings for this amazing tribute to my 3 main contributors to my team! Mikey, Gemma and my current champion, Bridie.

14.01.2022 Not a bad weekend away with the hounds. After a long lay off from trials due to Covid we turned out and had a gallop, Bridie worked beautifully in the novice Utility but unfortunately missed out on a place, Strike tried hard in just his 3rd trial and showed some improvements in the Novice yard, and to close out Bridie put in two consistent 70+ runs to get a 6th in the Open Yard. The top 6 separated by only 6 points!! Good start to shake off the rust Bridie continues to impress me. She is a very, VERY consistent performer. Hasn’t seen a sheep since being joined nearly 4 months ago!! Fresh off weaning pups and straight into the Open Yard final on tough sheep. Well done to all winners, particularly Nigel Armstrong and Roy who achieved the only pen of the entire weekend! In the Open Utility

14.01.2022 **STANDING AT STUD** Dryandra Cooch is a big, strong, powerful dog used mainly in yards for sheep. Hard backing dog with a brutal top knot and bark when it’s needed this bloke has a massive work engine and can go all day! Outside he has a big, wide cast and goes hard. He is a proven worker on both sheep and Cattle, videos of both can be supplied on request. ... In camp he is very easy. No fuss, doesn’t bark, and wants to be with you. DNA TESTED CLEAR FOR CEA & TNS Proven sire, has sired 2 litters naturally, AI is an option.

12.01.2022 Young Dryandra Pongo, making some great progress in her training. Next step for her is to get some miles under the belt at work. There’s more to her than meets the eye with this one. Soft natured, kind to her stock and very easy to handle.

11.01.2022 Ok folks! I have at present, 2 pups unaccounted for out of Bridie’s last litter. If you would like to register an expression of interest for one of these little superstars then pm me! Pedigree etc available on request. Sire’s line features Aled Owen’s Mac.

10.01.2022 Bridie in full flight at Tarwonga Y&U. Thanks Karyn Buller for the awesome shot

10.01.2022 I love doing little exercises like this with pups!! Putting new obstacles in their pen to see how they react and expose them to different things!!

09.01.2022 From everyone here at Dryandra Stock Dogs & Contracting, I’d like to wish all my friends and family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank my clients from the last 12 months and wish you all the best for next year!!

07.01.2022 Dryandra Poley 3 months old and already happy to relax by the back door

07.01.2022 So in a recent discussion on Zoom as part of a course I’m doing, the presenter called for more transparency between everyone involved with working dogs so figured I’d start! I don’t have anything to hide and am more than happy to discuss my dogs with anyone who’s interested. Below are the results for my main bitch Dryandra Bridie! https://www.orivet.com/animal/summary/352865?kit_id=327223

07.01.2022 Playing around with a special visitor today! Dryandra Pongo, full sister to Dog. Pong is an awesome young dog. Showing some exciting stuff!

05.01.2022 Firstly I would like to thank Jason Crockford for his help with this job there were a couple of reason why I asked him to help me on this one, first of all, all the dogs I would normally use for this work were either pregnant or injured at the time. Secondly it made it easier for me to video and explain the process without having to worry about what my dogs were up to as well so thanks Jase! Legend. A lot of people ask why bother to educate sheep. They can understand the safe...Continue reading

05.01.2022 So we’ve had a little oopsie here at Dryandra Stock dogs! 9 weeks ago Wyndora Secret had a secret liaison with one of my Collie sires... either Cooch or Dog, we will conduct a DNA test to confirm the father. However regardless of the sire these pups will have some serious sheep shifting ability!! Taking EOI NOW! Contact me for more info! Pedigrees are for Secret as well as the two possible sires!

04.01.2022 So on Saturday we welcomed 8 new little pan lickers to the crew!! 3 days old and starting to back already! Atm none are for sale.

04.01.2022 So I can CONFIRM! That this randy bugger: Dryandra Dog is the sire of these pups. Dog is a handy young dog with a world of presence and style and Secret is a very stylish, natural dog herself so the prospect of these pups is immense!

04.01.2022 Bridie’s cast, lift and draw in the Novice Utility courtesy of some great camera work by Blake Robinson. This was the first time she’d seen sheep in 15 weeks.

04.01.2022 Hahaha love this!
