10.01.2022 ATT: Public announcement to the 19,749 towny’s, flooding our supermarkets and town today- stay away, we don’t need you, our shops are closed, the weather is shit, and you’ve got nothing else better to do than stay in your holiday houses anyway so why not just do it at the house you normally reside in. We all want to get away, we all want to go on a little holiday for the weekend, we all want to escape reality once in a while but this weekend, this week, this month is NOT the... time to do so. We have a high population of elderly and you’re not helping flatten the curve. We have families who can’t even get the essentials for their children in our 2 supermarkets, because you’re all here trying to stock your holiday homes. Stay at home for us please, we can’t afford to have the virus attack our town - we don’t want to lose any of our locals from it and we are all doing our bit to help this. So please do yours. We will happily have you back once #COVID19 is under control and our town can go back to normal.
