22.01.2022 This 2013 project we did for a home in Kenmore received the much needed modern upgrade it deserved. From a stuffy 1950's brick home with little to no consideration of airflow and natural light to a home sustainably fit for the client's family. 22.01.2022 Our interior designer Joanna has recently been awarded the 2020 HIA & IDA New Kitchen Design Award as well as the Queensland Design Professional of The Year! Congratulations to Joanna on this great achievement.

22.01.2022 Some of you may remember a project we worked on last year in Rochedale South. The new kitchen, living and dining for that home has now been updated, with the fourth bedroom having been relocated, away from the living area. Making the entire living space more suitable to our sub-tropical climate and allowing far more usable and attractive space for furnishing in that area of the home. The total budget for the project, including fees, was under $90K which is an outstanding result for our client. Our client worked really hard to make it work for her very limited budget. View our new video and see the results for yourself!

19.01.2022 A lovely day for the #melbournecup2020 race with the team.

19.01.2022 Maximising water views while maintaining character overtones to meet City Plan objectives was a challenge for this home built in 2010. We focused on giving this new home a contemporary style while meeting the character components for the city plan at the time. This Wynnum new home design provides a streetscape aesthetic that is ultimately very unique and a step above others in the street as far as quality of materials. 16.01.2022 The primary objective of this Ashgrove renovation was to provide privacy to the interior of the home; the backyard and the pool from the rear neighbouring home’s upper bedroom level. For that reason we designed a low maintenance structure around the pool area to provide the privacy our clients desired. Learn more about this project here: http://bit.ly/dsashgrove

13.01.2022 The insulation has now been installed! This is to better assist with the Sustainable New Home's energy rating at Sherwood. 08.01.2022 Another update on our Sherwood Sustainable New Home! Our specialised cool max colorbond, metal fascia in matt monument roof with Kilp-lok sheeting is officially installed. This roof type increases reflectivity and is pitched to the perfect angle to take all the solar panels needed for this project for maximum solar capture. 04.01.2022 New Blog! Most people today have a reasonably good understanding of eco-homes or eco-housing and sustainable building practices. But I still have people coming to me who think that being environmentally friendly means going without some of life’s comforts. Learn more from our blog here: http://bit.ly/dsablogeco

03.01.2022 This 2007 Bulimba Workers Cottage renovation lifted and extended the home by cantilevering the rear deck over an existing pool. The renovation now features the client's wants and needs with contemporary spaces for living, working, socializing, and outdoor relaxation. The vast open-concept design now provides an optimal internal living environment. 03.01.2022 You’ve probably heard the saying that ‘the kitchen is the hub of the home’ and that is as true today as it has been at any time in our history. But kitchen designs are constantly changing, evolving, improving. So, in this article, we’ll take a look at some of those changes and how they can help improve your kitchen design. http://bit.ly/dsablogkitchens
