18.01.2022 Queen of Kingston done our stables proud on the weekend when we made the big trip to Sydney to take our place in NRRA Country Championships Final. Nothing went in her favour jumping from Barrier 15 and the plan was to try and lead or be close but after missing the kick, Ben had to go to plan B and go back to almost last. So to power home and run 4th after only getting clear 100m out from the line is a testament to the versatile horse that she is and the great ride from Ben. ...We are so proud of her and she can only go up from here and she certainly showed us she had every right to be there. A big thank you to Ben and Priscilla Lee for making the trip down and supporting our stable, congratulations to our owners Stephen Karen Butcher and a big thank you to all of our staff who held the fort down back home while we were gone.

15.01.2022 What a day it was yesterday and a very proud moment for Daniel training his first treble From 5 runners at Lismore and Toowoomba combined, we finished the day with 3 winners and 2 seconds Almas finally found his previous form from last prep with a very convincing win in strong company at Toowoomba! Thank you to Jen and Shelley for making the long trip up for us and to Beau Appo for your ride!... Back home in Lismore Kidlat took out the first, breaking his Maiden for Gundaroo Stud and Chiaki held his winning form again to take out the 5th. A big thank you to Matt McGuren for as always giving us your absolute best! Congratulations to our owners Stephen Karen Butcher and Gundaroo Stud! A big thank you and mention must go to our staff and our work riders Anthony and Kevin for helping to have the horses firing the way they are!

10.01.2022 Nice way to kick off our season with a winner at home in our tough little up and comer Kidlat! We’ve been a little bit quiet of late with many horses finishing off their preparations and the next lot coming through as well as new babies coming into the stables so it was nice to have a couple of nice runners getting into their preps. Thank you to Matthew McGuren as always for your ride!

09.01.2022 Our old faithful war horse Hope Island and his best old mate Kirk Matheson teamed up again at Lismore on Saturday to come back this prep with a bang and score a last to first victory with the grandstand weight of 64kg! These two have had a long association in the past and it was so nice to see them back in the winners circle again! Hopefully this is the start of a great prep for one of our favourite old boys

08.01.2022 We had a massive weekend with the team travelling to Sydney with Peak Hill for the TAB Highway Handicap and also having runners at Casino. It was successful weekend with Last Cigar breaking his Maiden at Casino and Peak Hill certainly not disappointing by putting in a good run in a race that was just run too slowly for his liking. A big thanks goes to Matthew McGuren for making the long trip down for us just to ride Peak Hill, to Jasen Watkins for his ride on Last Cigar and to all of our team who held the fort back home while we were away!

06.01.2022 Peak Hill winning at Ballina yesterday! This horse is is a machine. He came to us in May as a 7 start non placed maidener and in one short prep with us has won 4 races, placed twice, run 4th in the Lismore Cup as a Class 2 horse and had a trip to Sydney for a Highway Race. ... He is so tough and is only going to be a better horse next year and we are so proud to have him in our stables!
