23.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2020 Dawn Driveway Service "Stay At Home". A fitting tribute to all our ANZACs past and present was given by Lester Perry, one of our longstanding team members. The cenotaph, NZ fire pit and Southern Cross in the background at 4.28am, 25th April, 2020. Lester played "The Last Post" on his cornet, as he has done at every ANZAC ceremony for the last 45 years. 22.01.2022 The Laser Cutting section of Downs Sheet Metal recently completed these seats, commissioned by the Western Downs Libraries from funding provided by First Forever, an initiative of the Qld State Government which supports parents and families to nurture their child's love of language and reading together. The artwork for each chair was by indigenous author Gregg Driese. They will be located in Dalby, Chinchilla, Tara and Miles.

16.01.2022 CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL "You can't go past a DSM for durability and reliability, invest in the best, forget the rest." I’d had a gut full of the ordinary style workshop toolboxes falling apart as soon as I’d put them on a ute, the last one I bought didn’t see the back end of 4 weeks before it collapsed! I came across DSM at Henty and the sales fella demonstrated to me that the small draws at the top of the box would hold his weight by standing on the middle draw. He was bearing... all his weight down on the draw unassisted and I’ll never forget his words If this is the 1st one you have looked at here today then go for look around and see who else can stand on a draw and not damage it, I bet you won’t find another toolbox that anyone will do this to After about 4 or 5 hrs of looking around I went back past the DSM site and well, 17 years later that box is still performing like the day I got it. It’s never needed to be fixed or welded or have any repair done, this box has travelled, I’d say, over half a million kilometres on the back of my utes, on some of the nastiest roads and conditions you can imagine possible. 02.01.2022 One of the world's most expensive Super Yachts currently in Australia, commissioned DSM Tool Boxes to build two custom stainless steel boxes to be installed in their Engine Room service area. They have also been powder coated "Notre Dame" at the customer request. See before and after powder coating photos. As these boxes are not installed in mobile service vehicles, they feature stainless steel ball bearing slides. Always a pleasure to be able to help our customers with their specific requirements.
