14.01.2022 Thanks to our wonderful communities response to reopening DSN Op Shop we are now looking for more donations. Clothes, manchester, Bric-a-brac, games, toys, jigsaws, crockery, knick knacks, books, shoes, handbags, bags, cases, hats, furniture, electrical items, surprise us! Anything in reasonable condition could be useful or a treasure for some one else. ... Buttons and zippers off clothes that are headed for the bin can also be used if you would like to chop them off and donate. Towelling and cotton items destined for the bin can be chopped up and sold as rags. Any clothing in good condition that we dont use will be sent to eco clothing to go overseas or to remote communities. If you would like to donate any electrical items, please make sure these work before bringing them in. ALL funds raised help Depression Support Network Albany Inc support people in our LOCAL community. We are funded through our DSN Op Shop and donations from the wonderful people of Albany. We are also ALL volunteers which means the money ALL goes to help people in need locally. If you are unsure about what you would like to donate please feel free to call Kelly or Nikki on 9841 3724 at the DSN Op Shop - 34 South Coast Highway, Orana (around the corner from the Albany bowling club) Our work includes peer support, personal recovery and life management, long term mental health management and many other supports as they arise for people and their friends and families who are: Living with Depression, anxiety or other mental health issue; Bereaved after the suicide death of a loved one; Survivors of sexual assault and abuse; and parent support amongst many other areas as they arise.
