23.01.2022 Tomorrow kicks off the beginning of Term 4 and DSPS OSHC staff are excited to welcome back all of our families. Please keep in mind that parents unfortunately are still not permitted to enter the service. We ask that you please knock on the service door or ring the door bell for one of our friendly educators to escort your child(ren) out. As of tomorrow we will commence a 'normal' routine where all meals will again be provided. All meals are prepared fresh at OSHC by an OSHC... educator. If your care needs have changed and you would like to book, cancel or alter any OSHC sessions, please contact us on 0490 657 852 and one of our staff will be more than happy to assist you. Please take note of the following important conditions for bookings and cancellations: Each uncancelled booking will incur a fine. Please cancel unrequired bookings to avoid addition fees. Children are not permitted to make or cancel any bookings. Walk ins are not permitted. ALL children MUST be booked in.

23.01.2022 Nature programs allow children to access learning at their own level. Through continuous exposure and modelled behaviour, learning in nature teaches children to be respectful of their environment and helps them build positive self-identities. Here we are exploring and investigating the school environment for signs of animals. The children used track and scat picture cards to help identify what animal could have been wandering around the school.

09.01.2022 Good morning to all our DSPS OSHC families. Over the next 6 weeks, DSPS OSHC will continue to stay open for families who are essential workers and have no other alternative care for their children before and/or after school. We ask that if you are one of these families and if you haven't already done so, to call or message the DSPS OSHC mobile on 0490 657 852 to make your bookings. A reminder that our phones aren't manned in between 9am and 2.30pm. We will however return y...our call or reply to your text as soon as we possibly can. Due to the low capacity of families requiring care, DSPS OSHC will operate as a single staffed service for the next 6 weeks. This will mean that of a morning at BSC you will continue to have one educator and then again in the afternoon. As Holly and myself are still on our 4th year primary placements, your lovely educators will be Kristina, Hannah and Georgia. Holly and I will be back in about 4 weeks. For those families whose children will be using the service, we ask that you kindly supply your child with a separate snack for ASC (breakfast will still continue to be provided). It is strongly recommended that your child brings their snack to BSC prior to starting school as they are highly likely to eat it during the school day . We will however supply a fresh fruit platter and savory items for those who are still hungry or have "misplaced" their snack for ASC. If you should have any further questions, please feel welcome to call or text the OSHC phone or private message me through here. Take care everyone, Casey Middleton - DSPS OSHC Coordinator
