07.01.2022 Interesting case: We received a call on Friday. The lady had a Hp Computer that was not turning on. She said that she was working on the PC the previous night and had to complete and post her resume to her agent by morning. She sounded very desperate and asked if we could do something about it. We booked a service call and had a Tech calling her in 15 mins. Our tech Andy informed her that it could be anything ranging from Power Unit failure to a Mother board failure. On the ...phone he instructed her to certain things to exclude other possibilities, like make sure the plugs and leads are plugged in properly etc. while doing that, the customer mentioned that the light on the switch board was not on. Andy asked her to change the plug and check the machine. Yes, ..it worked. The customer was so thankful to Andy. A call out and labour charge to do this would have cost her $120.00. The call to Andy cost her $19.00. We saved $101.00 for her.
