It is one of the rare turtles that can stay underwater for long periods, as it takes water in and can extract the oxygen. 09.01.2022 Is there a chance climate change will cause a catastrophe? Bloody hell it will! Is there a chance our life will end when we least expect it? Hell yeah. Do you want to do something that helps us & our wildlife survive? Of course you do.... At Dualitee Designs, we work to help species survive. We are small, but with your help we will move mountains! In the diminishing jungles of Central America there are some Sloths, there are 4 types of Sloth, but they all live 95% of their life in trees. They are in danger of slipping off the planet. We humans keep thinking the world has been made for us. We are incapable of living together in harmony, so apart from a few weirdos we figure nothing else matters! There are 4 types or species of Sloths, they all spend most of their lives in trees, a bit like Koalas! They have the extraordinary capacity to make love in the trees, give birth in trees, in fact, for quadrupeds they spend a small amount of time on the ground; their long claws make it difficult to walk the earth itself. So why did a bloke in Sydney want to help save Sloths? Easy, they are strangely like Koalas. Interesting quadrupeds that live in trees, the arm strength, and the capacity to grab the tree is similar, but otherwise no reason. Personally, I am a big bastard and want to help another Big Bastard that not everyone cares too much about. In fact, Dualitee Designs is all about trying to help the un sexy animals that are falling off the edge of interest. I never quite understood Koalas until a neighbour lost his dog to a Koala. They are tough, strong and seriously capable, so don’t try to bail me up as I go from one tree to another! I likewise wouldn’t want to question the Sloth. BTW, as much as I love dogs, sometimes their most endearing qualities can also be their most annoying, so that old blind fella went gently into the night. Well maybe not gently. So while we don’t raise funds for Koalas, it’s because they just don’t fit our criteria. We want to help those buggars, big n small that play in the B team.
