25.01.2022 I have been really lax about posting on here. I have been away on a well earned rest, spending a week in Phuket. Wonderful place, very relaxing. Now it's down to some serious work before Christmas and the silly season gets under way. Don't forget to get your paperwork up to date before the Holiday season so you can relax and not worry about all that unfinished bookwork sitting there awaiting your return. I love this time of year when everyone is getting their financial records up to date and finalising payrolls and all the stuff you need to have done for end of financial year. There is also a lot of sickness around too - flu season, so if your wonderful staff are off crook and you need some help with year end, give me a call. 21.01.2022 Wow, just 31 Days to Christmas. Never my favourite time of the year and every year it seems to come around faster and faster. I would love to have one of those Christmas' that you go out for a lovely lunch and someone else cleans up while I go home and take a nap. Have you priced these things these days - second mortgage material. Oh well, get crackin if you haven't started yet or if you are really organised and have it sorted, I hate you!!!

I'm not convinced it is actually new views, I think it is Facebook's way of coaxing me to pay to increase the visibility of the page. If you happen to pop in here, leave me a comment or criticism so I know if these notifications are legitimate. Meantime, if I can help with anything to do with your business, or even an opportunity to "think out loud" about what you could do differently in your business, I am really good with ideas and suggestions.

16.01.2022 I am still around. Just keeping a low profile as I imagine a lot of people are. I work from home with a heavy dependance on internet based applications, so at these times when everyone is struggling to keep their business going and still make a living, you are certainly not alone.

14.01.2022 I have a difficult time keeping up with posts on here - I am much more interested in helping my wonderful clients doing what they do best. I would like to welcome my newest client, the Hidden Gem @ Marina. I even made it a point of taking a group of friends to lunch there last week so I could try it out. Delicious Italian food, great atmosphere and super service. Give it a try, well worth the experience and a really great addition to the restaurant offerings in Port Macquarie.

14.01.2022 Wow, isn't the year just whizzing by. It will be tax time again before we know it. But right now, it is Easter and then our very special Anzac Day. I'm spending my Easter weekend up to my eyeballs in baseball. No, I don't play but I love to watch and I am on the committee for both Hastings Baseball Association and the Hastings River Pirates Baseball Club so I will be out there in the sunshine with all the other spectators cheering on my favorite players and teams. Come join us at Blackbutt Field at Wauchope. It will be huge.

11.01.2022 Are you a small business employing staff? Have you heard about STP? If you haven't you need to. STP is Single Touch Payroll and legislation has been passed in the last week or so to make it mandatory for all businesses employing staff in their business. STP was implemented from 1 July 2018 for all businesses employing more than 19 staff. Now it is mandatory for every employer from 1 July 2019. If you have't heard of it or don't know where to start, give me a call. I can h...elp. If you currently prepare your payroll using a wages book or timesheets etc. you will really see big changes. Give me a call.

08.01.2022 The clock is ticking. The end of another financial year is not all that far away and this one is significant for small businesses employing less than 19 staff. It becomes mandatory to implement Single Touch Payroll reporting from 1 July 2019. If you don't know what this means, you should take some time to find out because it means ATO is literally telling all businesses who employ staff they MUST operate their business books on a computerised system. No more spreadsheets, paper ledgers and the like. You need to be computerised. If you need to talk to someone about it, give me a call. I would love to help you get started and make it as painless as possible.

06.01.2022 Had a fabulous month last month. Lots of exiting stuff to do, finished a system implementation for some really nice people, spent some time talking to a lovely lady who wants to start a business, and got a whole of of work back up to date. 04.01.2022 This is tax time and my favourite time of the year. I just love being busy helping people getting organised for their own end of financial year. But I have been taking some time out to follow my favourite team Hastings River Pirates Baseball as they approach their semi finals and hopefully the grand final on 8 September at Blackbutt Park in Wauchope. I know it is likely to be a great day and baseball is a great sport. I do hope all will join us and cheer on whoever makes it to the grand final. I know I will.
