24.01.2022 Yesterday a number of community members gathered to plant a native rough bark apple tree in Dubbo's Victoria Park to symbolise their support for the residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation centre in the Dubbo region. The gathering were unamimous in their joy about the recent funding announcement of $7.5 million from the State Government for the construction and recurrent costs for a centre. This highly anticipated funding will be additional to the $3m the Australia...n Government had previously committed along with land* made available by Dubbo Regional Council for the construction.
