20.01.2022 Welcome to the City of Dubbo Eisteddfod The City of Dubbo Eisteddfod Society provides a forum for performance in the disciplines of Dance, Instrumental, Vocal & Choral, Speech, and Drama. The Society aims to provide an environment for competitors where, in partnership with constructive adjudicators, training, experience and enjoyment can be gained in an atmosphere of positive encouragement. ... The City of Dubbo Eisteddfod is a not for profit community based organisation, run completely by volunteers , we have been organising this event for 50 years and we welcome and THANKYOU for YOUR continuing support .

20.01.2022 The City of Dubbo Eisteddfod Committee is committed to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all competitors, families, volunteers and the community and have made the unavoidable decision to cancel our 2020 Event. The impacts of COVID-19 are far more widespread than anyone anticipated. Now, more than ever, Australia must unite in the face of this pandemic to ensure the health and wellbeing of ourselves, our communities and our nation as a whole. "NSW Health Minister ...Brad Hazzard has made an Order under Section 7 of the Public Health Act 2010 to force the immediate cancellation of public events with more than 500 people. Mr Hazzard said under the planned changes, individuals who fail to comply could face up to six months in prison or a fine of up to $11,000 or both, plus additional penalties for each day the offence continues. Corporations face even harsher fines. I urge the community to do the right thing and obey the decisions and advice of the National and NSW Chief Medical Officers, Mr Hazzard said. We extend a heartfelt thanks to all teachers and parents for the support that we have been given over many years. We have seen so many of our Competitors grow and develop into outstanding performers and it is disappointing for us to not provide them with the opportunity to perform again in 2020. Stay safe and stay healthy .... and look forward to CITY OF DUBBO EISTEDDFOD IN 2021!!!! and please continue to follow Government advice. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2021 to celebrate our 50 years. With our kindest regards The City of Dubbo Eisteddfod Committee 16 March, 2020
