21.01.2022 This morning we handed out Premier's Reading Challenge certificates to our Primary students who completed the challenge this year. We also had some special awards to give out to three of our students who have successfully completed the challenge for a few years running. There were two Gold Awards for completing the PRC for four years, and one Platinum Award for completing the PRC for seven years! Well done!

20.01.2022 HSC results out today! Congratulations to our Year 12 students on their results. Some great reward for their effort, perseverance and commitment in a remarkably different year. Well done to this fantastic group of young people. We pray God’s blessing on them all as they embark on what God has for them next year and beyond. We are so proud of them.

15.01.2022 Our Year 7s had a small exhibition at Recess today to show us the work they've been creating this year in Visual Art. Self portraits, sculptures, prints and art appropriation were all on display for staff to admire. Great work Year 7!

09.01.2022 Our Secondary Girls Cricket team took part in the Thunder Girls League Carnival yesterday. Our girls played games against St Johns College and Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, showing great sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the day. Well done and looking forward to the next carnival in Term 1 2021!

08.01.2022 FANTASTIC news for families in Dubbo with an additional 23 places to be created at Dubbo Christian Preschool thanks to funding from the NSW Government! As par...t of the $7.5 million Start Strong Capital Works program, the service will receive $300,000 to build additional space at the centre to accommodate more children and meet some of the city’s growing demand for early childcare. The importance of early childcare learning has always been well-known but I think we’ve developed a real appreciation for it through the pandemic. As a government we have put an emphasis on the sector because it is important that children are well-supported in their early learning before they reach school, and it is equally important that parents have access to places and confidence that their children are being well educated. @dubbocity #dubbochristianschool #preschool #earlychildhoodeducation #investinginourkids
